That's fair, and I see your point, but what could you honestly see Byrd doing differently his time to beat VK? And Ruiz, I'll admit, did surprize me by not being KO'd by Golota, but that's because Golota fought a ****** fight and didn't use what he has. For the limited amount of time he did use his jab, he frustrated Ruiz. What could Ruiz possibly do to VK? My point is, even though they haven't fought, everyone knows who would most likely triumph. Who is the more marketable of the three? Not only is VK big and white, he has dominated everyone he's fought with exception of one, (yes, he dominated Byrd too, up until the injury) Lennox. Ruiz and Byrd have never been able to say that, VK doesn't need King as much as some think he does.

If he decides to sign with King, the only difference it would make is when he did it, and that he did it of his own free will. And again, if he does, good for him. The way I see it, The length of Ruiz's and Byrd's reign as champ directly depends on if and when they fight VK, and King knows that. King is the devil, he's one of the largest sources of corruption in boxing, and he just wants to be the controlling force in what he knows will be the next undisputed champion. (I even rank Brewster above Ruiz, by the way) I for one wouldn't miss him if he ever left boxing completely, but I know there is little chance of that happening.

So, what you're saying is, you didn't mean to aim that comment at me, but, included my name in your post. And, now that I've simply tried to clear it up, you're gonna' take a swing at me for politely responding?

Have it your way ... both ways I mean.

That sort of tit-for-tat stuff should fit in very nicely with this meandering thread.

I don't see how I a took swing at you. Your name was not the one that had the biggest font and in bold like Bozo's was. You are making this a lot more difficult than it has to be.

Wlad looked to be okay after the Moli and Nicholson fights, but the Brewster loss really hurt him. Following a -nothing seemed to go right- performance agaisnt Williams, he needs to knock out a guy like castillo, and then maybe look at fighting a guy like Michael Moorer or Oleg Maskiev or Michael Grant. Someone a step up from
                Castillo with a bigger name.

At that point, there would be more interest in him against a top 10 opponent, and his confidence would be somewhat restored.

As it is now, there's no way he sould be fighting for a title. He neads to earn his way back into the mix.

.....Castillo just beat Moorer pretty handily and Grant has absolutely nothing and is not even a top 100 fighter. WTF are you talking about? Wlad stepping up from Castillo to fight Moorer or Grant?

Castillo is 6'2, 215 lbs, and has only 8 fights at Heavyweight. He was a former cruiserweight, who didn't light up that division either. He's a good fight to get a good KO (like Moli or Nicholson).

Maybe there are better choices than Moore and Grant for his next fight after this. All I was saying is it should be someone a step up from Castillo (that has a name) that wouldn't be a big threat.

Thats what he needs after this fight.

Good job way to expose Bozo yet again.

How difficult is it to understand?

After this soft fight, it would be a good idea for him to take another soft fight agaisnt a soft yet named opponent.

Weren't you the guy who said Castillo should be ranked just outside the top ten?

I'll repeat, maybe Moore and Grant aren't good examples, but someone like them, who has a name (Castillo doesn't) who Wlad is sure to beat easilly would be a perfect move for his next fight should he win this one.

His string of opponents of the next 3 or 4 fights is going to be vital in getting himself back in the picture.
