If Benny was this monster he should have knocked him out
Oh right , he came out after his lacklustre performance and stated he was injured
1st fight at 175 vs a former champ. Regardless of your bias, Gvoz was still bigger and stronger. Everyone saw it. End of story

Where did you lay your coin or would lay it ???
      I wouldn’t gamble
on an old shopworn guy with 3 fights in four years

Remember the Alamo! Remember the deal!

Morrel is going to look great until the 6th round just like Andrade and then the inevitable unfolds.

Benividas is far more than a plodding, aggressive, attacking boxer. If that’s all Morell sees. He’s going to have a long night.
I see this fight going 12 rounds. Benividas will win by 3-4 rounds.

Had it 55/45 Benavidez . Gvoz had never been beat up or even in trouble until he fought the wrecking machine named Beterbiev. Honestly thought Bena should've fought a hotrod type like Morrell did.

That's not to mention his frequent appearances on the offensive side. I hope Morrell isn't overlooking Benavidez' skill, because he's actually pretty hard to hit, especially with power shots.
Most people will just dismiss the stats as unreliable, and Benavidez is just lucky his stats are so flattered he sits among the top fighters in the sport in key categories. That kind of ignorance is common but in reality Benavidez is deceptively hard to hit clean.

Those 3 fights were in 2023, so he was active and tuned up. The fact he took a break for a few years could actually have been beneficial and he was fresh and had low mileage. He just turned 37 with only 20 pro fights, that is not shop worn.

I do think Hot Rod is the better fighter at the moment

He lacks both the stamina and punching power to seriously threaten David Benavidez in the ring.

The “Mexican monster’s” chin and workrate will make all the difference in this matchup.
Stamina? When have you seen Morrell Jr gassed? And he's been fight twelve rounds since his third fight, and was the harder puncher at 168, harder than benavidez. With that statement I see why you think he doesn't pose any threat, maybe benavidez thinks the same.
