That’s awesome. Nothing like rolling into a big event with all your boys. Last time I did that was Rigondeaux vs Donaire, at Radio City Music Hall in NYC, 2013. (Can’t believe it’s been that long!) A number of us from this site met there for the first time. I’m still friends with two of them, although they no longer frequent this place. We all went out for drinks in Hell’s Kitchen afterwards. A great night it was. Enjoy your Vegas weekend, bro!
That's dope! Lived in Vegas for about 5 years and went to a **** load of fights. Always wanted to go to MSG or Radio City for a fight and then head up to Canastota. Got a primo who goes to Syracuse.
I watched both fights. More than once. Morrell fought a fresher, trickier fighter who was backed up more than once because of Morrell's power. Benavidez fought a guy who pitter pattered until the eleventh round and was pushing 40 and STILL couldn't bother him in the slightest. I also recall Benavidez sucking air by the end of his fight; Morrell looked like he could go another couple.
All of this, of course, is a variation of the Triangle Theory and means **** in the grand scheme of things, but I'll call it like I see it regardless.
Here’s the deal. The fight could go either way. However, I am still leaning towards Benavidez to win this fight.
At the same time though; It’s very possible that Morrell just may prove me wrong and win the fight after all.
I was only expressing an opinion. It’s still just highly hypothetical and pure speculation at this point anyhow.
That is until the two of them finally step inside that ring in order to determine who’s the better fighter.
Benavidez is a good fighter against smaller and older guys, otherwise he hasn't prove anything against equal guys. Hope his fanfare finish soon! He better trains and drains well.
Canelo built his career off older and smaller fighters
He fought so many older smaller fighters they say he earned the right to duck now
