Maybe because Teo vs Loma was during the pandemic and it was in "The Bubble" where no crowd was allowed. Maybe you should get your facts straight lol.

2.4m guarantee not total purse plus a shot at the WBO belt and a chance to become Lineal Champ. Teofimo is Lineal Champ at 140 don't forget. Not a bad offer at all. Haney is no draw he needs a good dance partner.

Under those circumstances, It was an accomplishment that Haney actually went the whole 12 rounds. But the loss is off his record and he’s moving on with his career while Garcia remains suspended and is trying to sc**** up cash fighting a circus fight with a Japanese kick boxer.
I think you are missing it, nobody is denying that Garcia is a lunatic and a cheat, nobody. Devin knew that Garcia was mentally unstable and still, he wanted the fight for the money..."if he dies, he dies"....money. In reality Devin built his image on being a compulsive heel playing the disrespectful A-H-O-L-E for the money. Devin and his father knew dam well Devin didn't have a fan friendly style and that people would buy tickets to see the heel lose but they would buy tickets and that was their bottom line. They made a marketing decision for money knowing that if the heel lost the people would cheer, and he did, and they did.

Again, nobody is denying that Garcia sought chemical help but lets be perfectly honest, Devin's ability to gain 1lb per hour to gain a 25lb advantage is not remotely natural, that's simply a psychical impossibility without help and everyone knows it!

I was just about to mention this little thing that the other poster forgot to include in his defence of Haney

Agreed. That is a perfectly fair offer if it actually occurred.

You forgot to mention that Teofimo vs Lomachanko was during a global pandemic....there were no crowds, anywhere, for any event.

But hey, fu<k that fact because it doesn't match the narrative.

Teofimo wants Garcia & Crawford for the monster pay day and Haney for the right money because IMO, Teofimo wants out.

Other than Garcia, where does Haney get a better offer? Devin's style was never fan friendly, he can't shrink down and guys at 147 are stronger, they'll just punch with Devin in exchanges.

The $2.4 million was just the guaranteed amount, the share of the PPV sales would have been 55/45. I'm curious to know what you think Devin's guarantee offer should be? Keep in mind that Bud's last fight under Turki only guaranteed him $2.5 million. Do you honestly feel Devin's guarantee should be more than Bud's??
