Comments Thread For: Teofimo Lopez Jnr: Devin Haney ignored 'good, reasonable' offer

Teofimo Lopez Jnr had a mostly quiet year defending his WBO junior welterweight crown against Jamaine Ortiz and Steve Claggett. Come 2025, however, Lopez wants to live up to his nickname of the Takeover once again by being involved in big-time fights.

Kinda understandable Haney turning down offer, Teo would give Devin an even worst of a beating imo, yes, even worst than the one Cryan gave him. Haney better stay clear off that bad smoke.

They are both mentally shot but Teo will rise to the occasion. They both will fold with any live body. They should cash out on each other because they are both on the decline.

It has to be really good for them so this is hard to believe.

Hankey got that fresh dazn money from dumbass Hearn despite not being putting asses in seats or being a draw and the ryan payday/ass beating probably got him big headed.

Annoying Haneys are gone. Haney thought he was better than what he really was. All he ever was, was a weight bully.

When I read Teofimo's comments he seems unhinged. He really seems troubled and his mind is all over the place. Why does he keep calling out Crawford for God's sake? Crawford rejected a fight with Fundora for two more belts 154 and he is going to fight Teo who has nothing to offer at 154? Does he have anyone on his team to bring some common sense into this equation?

By the way, I think Teo spanks Haney.

You guys are so harsh on Haney after 1 loss. The man is still young and has much to offer to the sport.

However, I would take easy fighters if I were him to rebuild the confidence. I wouldn't go into a big fight regardless of how much the offer is; that's just to save his career and legacy, but if he wants to cash out his big pay cheque, then do so

Good offer my foot, Teo is no draw he has made way less money than haney in his fights ,he's certainly diluded if he thinks haney will accept 55/45 split .

Sadly, Teo went off the deep end a long time ago and mentally and physically is no longer the same, with or without Reynoso

This is Lopez way of derailing fights that he never intend to do anyway. Tired of this emotional punk
