Ortiz jr tyszu the eastern bloc euros fundora they would all fight ennis. Instead he stays at 147 trying to unify against barrios lmao. Ya same barrios that tank (130 lb champ) KTFO. Just a wasted career

Wasn’t Ortiz Jr at 147? What exactly did he do there? How do you figure a fight with Tszyu would end?

The great Crawford fought at 135, 140, 147 and now 154. Should he have skipped 140 because it was weak? For his first title, he beat Jeff Horn. What do you make of that?

Ortiz jr was prospect of the year and beat up the Lithuanian dude who dropped crawford kavlauskis who’s better than anyone booty ennis has ever even fought. Vergil is also 26. Ennis is 30 now and doesn’t have one decent name on his resume and his title is of the email variety. Crawford ain’t that great either if you check out the facts. Look at who he fought his belts for it’s kind of pathetic lol. He never defended any belts at any weight. 135/140 crawford somehow missed DSG mikey garcia Josh Taylor even Regis would’ve been a good fight at the time. But is universally praised for “unifying” against all world talents like Julio ondongo and rocky burnes lol. You mentioned Joe horn? He was a fraud he stole his title on a home robbery. But this about booty ennis. At least Joe horn and Crawford actually beat someone for that title ennis just getting his through default lol. Sad af. I personally rate Ortiz jr very very highly but that’s just my preference. Ortiz does get hit a bit and has been down but he always comes back I love that Tito Trinidad was my favourite and Ortiz jr has shades of him in his game

Pursuing to become "UNDISPUTED" at 147, is a total waste of time! It would be a worse string of fights than Bud Crawford @ 140! Hearn needs to use his own resources, and get Boots a fight with Vergil Ortiz Jr., or Israil Madrimov @ 154!

Move up get the IBF shot at 154 vs Murtazaliev But nope to that too lol. He literally waiting around to fight barrios. Thats his target. Which is weak af. He’ll claim he’s “unifying 147” and wants to become “undisputed” but there’s no one that cares because 147 is an absolute joke now
Stanionis is with pbc, not Dazn. Also boots is 27, not 30. You have no idea what you are talking about.

its a different situation at 115 - they get paid less so keener to take well paid fights and also historically they have always fought each other. This is why everything happens at snail pace at the higher weights - they get paid so much so they can afford to avoid 'risky' fights. PBC has 2 champs at 147 and two more at 160 - why aren't they fighting each other? Because they would rather hang around and wait for an easier and better paid fight to turn up. Same reason Andy Ruiz and Wilder never fought, same reason tank doesn't challenge himself - he doesn't need to.

not excuses , just the reality. If you've been following boxing for decades then you get resigned to seeing the business side interfere with the sporting side.
I would like to see Ennis challenge himself more but his team are hanging around at 147 to see if they can unify; likely Eddie Hearn promised him a unification belt when he signed with him. If he is still inactive and not unifying by next summer I'll re-assess.

I do think there is an aspect where the fighter can take a fight for less. But I also think boxing has been guilty of being so greedy you don't have a new bevy of fans to appreciate the talent of these fighters coming up. And there's such a reliance on trying to make the big money fast.

Thing is that big money has to come from somewhere. I don't think promoters can make it appear out of thin air. I think like anything in life there has to be an investment for there to be a return. Plenty of online users know who Jake Paul is because he's promoter I mean that flippantly, but hardly any would know who boots is.

I was a big ennis fan but the guy talks a lot of nonsense and his actions have shown different than what his mouth says. Even now he won’t commit to 154 and move up he’d rather beat up Karen’s on matchroom cards lol. Literally the next Demetrius andrade
I don't think trying to unify his division is a good idea either. I don't know what's involved with making that jump in weight... What I do know is fighters in any division should be fighting each other. I don't even know who to blame but I don't think it's a promoters and that's my point.

You seem very sure that if Enis enters the division everyone will fight him. What are you basing this on? Do we know this? I mean if a fight gets made it's one thing but talk is cheap. The only thing we do know is Crawford won't fight him at 1:47 and yeah I do think he ought to go to a different division I don't disagree with that.
