    I was rooting for beterviev,
But he landed on gloves all night
whilst getting stung often by solid combinations by Bivol

    7/5 or 8/4 for Bivol

beterviev looked defeated by the end of the fight and took a few seconds to accept he had actually won

His corner was rightfully panicked and urging a knockout
    saying they needed it

Just because its competitive doesn’t mean its unclear on the result

I can see why beterbiev was disappointed in his performance, because he did not win that fight

Yes, maybe if beterbiev really is a hard puncher, if all those punches really did land from beterbiev, bivol wouldn't have lasted until final round.
Bivol maybe should be credited for successful defence. But it does look good throwing more punches, as judges may think they scored and gives impression you got energy if nothing more

It was a DRAW...I had Bivol up 6-3 after 9 rounds but he took the championship rounds OFF whereas Beterbiev was the aggressor and busier fighter because his team told him he needed a KO. Therefore, you can't blame the judges for ALL scoring the last 3 rounds for the Chechen even though a lot of his punches were blocked.

To consider this fight a robbery is one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever heard.

What's done is done, no matter how you lean. Your energy should now be focused on demanding a rematch if it's that inconclusive. Overall, yeah, it is. Bring on Part 2.

That always speak a lot, especially when there were multiple broadcasters showing it, so less likely influenced by that.
Boxrec has it 115-114 Beterbiev among 140 scorers

Bivol didn't do himself any favors by covering up for long stretches in certain rounds, but outside of a body shot here and there,i really can't even remember any Artur punches that he landed. I clearly remember Art getting rocked in the 7th and clean combos from Bivol though
Did your feed freeze during that 7th round exchange?

Bivol fan, and I scored it for Bivol but it wasn't a robbery. I will say that people seem to forget that defense is a major scoring criteria. Bivol landed more clean punches and his defense was way better, which is why his efficiency was so much better than Beterbiev's. That being said, effective aggression could sway it more to Beterbiev, and there were quite a few rounds that I wasn't confident about my score.

My feeling at the end of the fight was that a draw would be appropriate, and I think Beterbiev should be given credit for being a much better boxer than he's usually considered. Both guys fought a very skilled contest, and it's a shame nobody seems able to sit back and just appreciate the display of the sweet science that we got.

Run it back please, although having watched that, it seems unlikely that Bivol will come out on top since he got outworked, and he's usually the one driving the output. Simple fact is that Beterbiev was able to force the fight into his style, rather than Bivol imposing his style, and that says to me it's not a robbery, even if that 8-4 card is disgraceful.
