i dont see why tank fans wouldnt see loma as the best or close to best opponent for him, yappy dog shakur can wait, im not even sure hes ready for a big fight, he may just yap yap and do speed laps around the ring and then retire after who knows, loma and tank will test each other with a good display of boxing and drama im sure, whats not to like about it, it will be good and maybe very good event

I agree. I can't see anyone not liking this fight. Boxing fans always look for stuff to complain about, especially if they don't like a fighter. All of a sudden everyone he's fought in his life is a bum , he's a weight bully , size bully , etc , whatever they can dream up to criticize. On the flip side , the fighters that they like are perfection in and out of the ring , they've fought nothing but great fighters in their primes....you know the drill.
This should be an excellent fight between two awesome fighters and it's happening now . Screw the nitpicking and bullshlt , enjoy the fight.

In 2000, Mosley was the 147 champion. Floyd was the 130 Ibs champion in the same year. Thats like saying Tank ducked Crawford.

PAC wasn’t going through the gauntlet from 2005-2008 so why didn’t PAC move up in weight to fight Floyd? According to you, Floyd should have skipped three weight classes to fight Mosley so using the same logic, PAC was fighting at 130, why not skip to 140 and fight Floyd?

As for Cotto and Margarito who both being promoted by Top Rank, how was that fight going to be made? It took 5 years for Crawford and Spence to fight, were they ducking each other?

Speaking of a prime Margarito, I hope you watched his destruction at the hands of Mosley in 2009.

If Loma can do to Tank what he did to Kambosos (and yeah, I know that's a huge IF but it's possible) he will be my sentimental ATG. OK, fire away.....

Why didn’t PAC fight Floyd from 2005-2009? Those are five years he waited to age out Floyd.

Why didn’t PAC fight Floyd from 2005-2009? He let Floyd get old before challenging him.

This is pretty much the same logic you are using.

                Fair enough.
I don't know why, nor could I ever really know.
I'm just acknowledging the argument, one way or the other, even though I did kinda put the blame on Floyd, didn't I?

I doubt the fight will happen UNTIL you can visually see that Loma has degraded dramatically. Maybe another 3 years.

Doubt fight happens. If so, Loma hurts Davis or bewilders him similar to Lopez & Haney but this time the judges won't be saving them.
