If Tank beats Loma, he’s just doing what Lopez, Salido and Haney have already done. I’d rather see Tank and Teo fight.

If you know your boxing that is BS, its a haters narrative that started with haters and is sung by haters and people that tag along with a narrative.

Well anyway that very thing is discussed here, listen to whats said and dwell on a little bit.

Not a Mayweather fanboy, just a boxing enthusiast.

Oscar & Shane had plenty of business to which to attend.

The 3 De La Hoya fights before Floyd were Sturm, Hopkins & Mayorga. For Mosley it was Cotto, Mayorga & Margarito.

Also, as we all know, Floyd Mayweather Jr is almost 2 years older than Manny Pacquiao.

          Lance, stop it!
He's only fighting Loma cuz he's now old enough.

Its not because he is now old enough, its because of the meshing of a number of things, he thinks he can beat him he has matured as a fighter and Loma is still really really good, to fight him years ago may have been premature from Davis's connections assessment , this cross over happens in just about every era where the older lions meet the younger lions why do people need to sht on the fight, its a dam good fight, this and or Teo or Shakur are all good fights Im happy with any of them.

Davis is not more active than Loma, and he'll be forced to think way harder. I'd be surprised if either knocked the other down or out, but not if Loma won on points, fairly easily.

              Hopefully, we get to see!
You'd be surprised if Tank knocks Loma down?? Lol what??? Loma would have to get Tanks respect or Tank just gonna walk him down.. the difference in power is too much. I don't see how Loma can keep Tank off him

                Too much blah-blah.
You can try this spaghetti-throwing strategy on someone else.

Tank is now prepared for Loma after his murder's row streak in the faced in the couple years. Davis have all the attributes to be great but instead of fighting the fights he is just living on the fame of his potential greatness.

This fight presents the most money that can be generated. This is not necessarily the most competitive fight that can be made. There are folks that really believe in Loma these days - especially since he recently dismantled Kambosos. But these folks are delusional. Haney beat Loma (barely), Haney beat Prograis, Haney beat Kambosos, Loma beat Kambosos. These fighters have all been exposed for being beatable. Yet their fans see differently.

Tank sees the money that he'll make and the accolades that he'll receive by beating Loma, so he's not going to run from this fight and old warrior. Tank will knock out Loma.

The more competitive opponents are Garcia, Teofimo, Shakur, and even Pitball.....but the buzz/money/enthusiasm isn't as much into these bouts.

But I'm not mad at Tank. It would be dumb to not face Loma at this point.

But once he knocks Loma out, I'd like to see him face one of the four major players next.
