Manny beat Oscar at 147. A weight Oscar hadn’t fought in in over 6 years.
Manny beat Cotto and Margarito at catchweights. Margarito was coming off a KO loss and his “invincibility” aura was long gone.

We can play this game all day long. Bottom line is, if Mannybreally wanted to fight Floyd, there was 2005-2009 where he could have chased the fight but he didn’t. Those are five years. When Floyd got older is when Freddie Roach started clamoring for the fight. In fact he’s on record saying that “Floyd’s legs are gone, now is the best time to fight him”. What does that tell you. They wanted an old slow Floyd. These are facts you can look up
I quoted you earlier in the thread also.

Oscar chose the weight, he was bringing up Manny from 135. Still Manny's fault?

Manny DID NOT NEED Floyd at all between 03 to 09.

From 03 to beginning of 08- Manny had MAB x2, Morales x3, JMM x2. Then the remainder of 08 to 09, Manny had Diaz, DLH (who was a bigger star than Floyd, but a part-timer- mostly just a name win). Hatton at 140, then Cotto.

This time period is where Manny gets alot of his shine. Floyd was a fan too, check him in the crowd against Morales. LOL.

Oscar and all the issues he had with draining was all his fault Manny wanted the weight actually he wanted 144 to begin with and Oscar agreed on 147, doesn't mean those issue making 147 were not the reason he lost so badly, when your body is dehydrated like that and refuses to take on Fluids your fked, your system has basically shut down, even the IV fluids he took didn't help because in his situation he would need multiple 1000ml bags over the course of days, in which I bet he got after the fight.

Any boxing fan will give Manny credit for his run at 126 and 130. Great fights and great matchups. He won and took losses as well (We all lean towards our guys when it comes to close decisions so I split the four fights equally with Marquez).

Also, Oscar chose the weight, glove size, ring size, judges and referee for the Floyd fight. He even had a rehydration clause where Floyd couldn’t be under 150 Ibs.

It's insane to think anyone is walking Loma down.. he has too much fluid movement, knows angles, and has proven his ability t earn his opponents respect with his punch power.

Of course, Tank has more punching power, but Tank's best when he gets a good angle, which is usually counter-based.
