Mayweather Says Mosley Missed His Chance, Twice

im getting sick of this fu$%in guy, we just want to see him fight a real welterweight. what the fu%$ does the past matter, shane wants to fight now and thats that. theres alot of money on the table and all the fans want to see it, there is no other big draw as mosley at the present moment. im so fu$%ing sick and tired of floyd not fighting the best, he has no excuses. this is his first time to fight a good fighter in his whole career (even though shanes gettin pretty old) as i said, the past doesnt matter, what matters is right now, and floyds avoiding the best once again. FU$% this guy pisses me off.

the way i see it is when Floyd was calling out De La Hoya and Mosley at lightweight i think he wanted a big PPV fight now the boot is the on the other foot Mayweather is a bigger attraction then DLH or Mosley right now so he can be abit more choosey with his opponents hence steppin in with Marquez

he doesn't have to fight mosley and eveyone wants to see him fight pacman anyway so mosley's chances look slim

Thing is, there are a lot who want to see the fight. Sure, he doesn't have to, but it is also silly to say that he's the best when he doesn't face the top fighters in his weight class. I saw him say that he's the best ever. Fight the top guys, or quit it. Sounds silly otherwise. If he fights Mosley, he can still fight Pac later. Mosley is getting up there in age. Though, if he's like Bernard, he may have a couple of very good years left. Would be better now, though. But, it is Floyd's decision. If he quits saying he's the best ever(if he hasn't already), I can respect that. Mosley could fight Cotto, Clottey, or Berto, if he doesn't get Floyd. Not as much money, but still ok. Maybe even Pac later. Maybe after/if Floyd fight happens.

It'll probably take 40 mil up front for Floyd to tussle with Sugar, i.e. that fight will never happen. I'm convinced he's done after he takes on the Cotto/Pac winner because other than Mosley, there isn't a star for miles at WW. No big game left.

Hmmm looks like Cotto and Pac fans want a pop at Floyd and have the 1st fighter to take away Floyd's 0.

As for Floyd, he knows Mosely has a good chance VS him. The guy can attack Floyd with his speed. He has power and can take a punch.

He made Marg look like a nobody. He outclassed Collazo whom had a close fight with Berto. He made Cotto run the last 3 rounds and it was still close.

Mosely is a real deal even at this age.

Floyd does not like a fighter that can pressure him. Mosely won't respect his punches and he isn't a pure boxer either. Mosely is almost all out an attacking machine. That's a type that gives Floyd problems.

Mayweather ant got a choice as far as I'm concern -- unless he plans on fighting other LW's. As far as I'm concern who wouldn't want to see a fight between SSM and FMJ? He can't duck and dodge forever...sooner or later he's going to have to step in the ring with a top WW. Weather it be Cotto, Mosley, Clottey, Berto, and Margarito (when he gets back).


(IMO) His next fight should be against SSM. Because if Pacquiao is able to get by Cotto; you know a fight with Pacquiao isn't going to be me made because of money issues over who's the bigger draw. That and Paquiao's camp has said they want the lions share and floyd's camp has done said more or less the same thing. So this fight ant happening anytime soon. There for he's going to have to fight Mosely. That's the second biggest fight out there for him at WW. It's the fight with the must demand and business wise it makes all the sense in the world. This is assuming that Pacquiao gets by Cotto.


Now if Cotto gets by Pacquiao, then he has to face Cotto. Otherwise who else is he going to fight? His biggest fights with the must demand would be Cotto and Mosely. If he doesn't face Cotto after the fact that he beat the Pound4pound best fighter in the world ... then he's really going to look like a ***** ass puss looking to only take on fighters that don't possess a real threat to him.



Either way you chop it he's going to have to step in the ring with either Cotto or Mosely. He talks about making the fight that makes the best business sense....these are the fights that make the best business sense.
Pacquiao I just can't see happening anytime soon... To many complications.

The Mayweather haters will always find another person that he is "supposed" to fight after he defeats someone else. After he beats the winner of cotto/pacman, then they will say he needs to fight Mosely, then it will be Paul Williams, then it will be Clottey or Berto...It will never end.

He is the Best and he is going to beat whoever he faces next. He just has the best combination of speed, power, and smarts to overcome anyone out there in (or around) the division. I think Paul Williams has the best chance, but he throws so many punches that I think he will leave openings for a smart/slick boxer like Mayweather.

Mosely was also crying for Pacman not too long ago and couldn't seem to leave that alone. No one scrutinized Pacman for not fighting Mosely the same way they are doing to Mayweather now. Everyone is very selective with their thinking and they forget everything else when it comes to downing Floyd. Everyday there is another article about Mayweather not fighting Mosely, but Pacman gets a free pass for not taking the fight. If anything Floyd should fight Cotto...the man who beat Mosely.
