Mayweather Says Mosley Missed His Chance, Twice

If Shane Mosley thought last weekend's stunt will lure Floyd Mayweather Jr. into a fight - he was wrong. Following Floyd's dominating win over Juan Manuel Marquez last Saturday at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Mosley and his Golden Boy Promotions partner Bernard Hopkins entered the ring. A war of words broke out between Mosley/Hopkins and Mayweather. [details]

He is right though when Shane was ontop first time he was called out he wouldnt let Floyd in. 2nd time out he dodged him for his boss, Mosley needs a good performance vs CLottey or Berto imo then go for Floyd, after Floyd beats pac or Coto

the way i see it is when Floyd was calling out De La Hoya and Mosley at lightweight i think he wanted a big PPV fight now the boot is the on the other foot Mayweather is a bigger attraction then DLH or Mosley right now so he can be abit more choosey with his opponents hence steppin in with Marquez

he doesn't have to fight mosley and eveyone wants to see him fight pacman anyway so mosley's chances look slim

This is one thing we can't know Mayweather on. Mosley had a chance twice and now that he is starving for a payday shouldn't mean Mayweather should give him a fight. Mosley is arguably one of the dumbest out of the sport fighters and he isn't entitled to this fight. Cotto or Manny deserve this fight more than Shane.

Too bad. Mosley is the only guy at WW that could beat him.

Floyd and Shane will eventually fight...If Pac wins and they can agree on the money split then he'll fight Pac...Makes better financial sense...

...If not...He'll fight Shane because that's the next biggest fight...

...No Shane or Pac if Cotto wins and this is very possible!

I'd watch any of the three...All would be good for boxing

Ok, and what does that have to do with now? Floyd has very little options. Its either winner of Pac/Cotto, or Shane. HBO should not approve anything else.

Floyd will retire if Cotto beats Pac IMO.

for that bein your first post it was really knowledgeable and makes a lot of sense...i agree with you too right now pbf has all the power becuase it looks like whoever wins the pac cotto fight will want a fight with pbf and most likely get it then if sane can look good in his next fight he has a chance at getting in squared circle with the winner of pac pbf or cotto pbf and they are all great for the sport and what boxing needs the top guys fighting each other
