    cheap excuses!!

yes i agree with mayweather that Mosley just chose not to fight him, but realistically it would have been hard to make the fight cause floyd was fighting at 140 and shane was fghting at 154. Now mosley can actuallu challenge floyd because shane has a title at 147 and is considered by many the best at welterweight. one more thing Who in the blue hell was floyd before fighting oscar de la hoya? if floyd wants greatness he should start fighjting on fights were he might be the uunderdog so if he wins, he then becomes heroic in a way. but having a very good effective style thats boring, and fightng smaller guys that we know for shure arnt beating floyd does not only hurt his reputation , it will eventually hunt his ass at night when hes old wishing he had more balls when he was younger. im not a floyd hater, nothing but respect him but if thats your gameplan to come up with bull**** so you wont fight the best then stay retired. i dont blame shane for wanting the fight for just the money, but thats the whole point of putting their lives in the ring so t in the ned they get a fat paycheck, just like flyd did las weekend.

and when did fighters become such ******* when it comes to being challenged in the ring after a fight/win?!?!? that used to be common in boxing, it used to be expected of fighters!!! it's what they did in the old school when they would try and get fights and the other party didn't want to fight, so they would put them on the spot in the middle of the ring in front of everyone to see A CHALLENGE IS BEING MADE!, now it's disrespectful, ****ing crybaby *******......... seriously, and again, it's ok for floyd to do it, or old school fighters, but when someone else does it, or mosley in this case its no class and disrespectful!?!?!? i say calling it out as disrespectful and not taking the challenge or not even entertaining the idea, i think says, i'm scared, i'm overwhelmed, i'm not confident........ or i'm not interested in the fight and your bore me, which floyd said nothing of, he went right into a defensive mode, which proves at least to me and those who read body language, floyd doesn't want a hard fight, he doesn't want to go into the realm of uncertainty......... and that is a fight with mosley or anyone bigger............

fighters need to get up in one anothers face after fights and call each other out, at least then we might see fights that should be made, and it might take some steam away from these bull**** sanctioning bodies, these alphabet soup organization's ranking systems.................

when did fighters become afraid of a verbal confrontation????? when did they become afraid of an open challenge, and when did the fans become so soft as to be offended by someone challenging their fighter!?!?!???!?

it's sad to see people are becoming more and more weak............ too much fluoride or something in the water making people docile and scared......
good post i agree.....fighters these days are actin like bitches. if someone was in my god damn face i fight em...but people don't think like that -_-

I couldn't agree more. I wouldn't blame Floyd if he never fights Mosley simply for the fact that Mosley refused to fight him those 2 times. Now Mosley realizes that he can make a lot of money fighting 'Money' and he wants a fight. Personally I hope Floyd does fight him because I don't think Mosley would stand a chance. Slow footed legal gloves Margorito was made for Mosley's style and he sure enough took advantage of that.....but Floyd is no Margorito. Ok.........here's what I think. Floyd should fight Mosley and dictate the purse so he would get the lions share. If Mosley wants to fight bad enough he'll take it. If not.....then shut up and fight on Friday night fights.....or retire.
