a 38 year old mosley will not beat a mayweather who's fighting like he is at this point in his career. glad he's not showing interest in the fight cause i'd be a waste of one.

i can tell he will fight the winner of cotto/pac. whoever wins that fight is deserving of it, specially with the hype surrounding whoever comes out victorious that night. if pac wins that will just add that much more to the hype train and if cotto wins it'll be double the hype. the effect it'll have on people if he beats pac will get him the much deserved attention he deserves and once people start looking up his other fights (seeing the wars he's been in, the damage he can take and give) .. the hype bandwagon will be huge going into a mayweather fight.

I really dont care who he fights, as long as its one of them. Sadly, Floyd has made excuses and came up with reasons not to fight anyone of them thus far. Lets see what happens.

Oh apologies if thats what you wrote, And yes i agree with that...It has to be any of those 3 for me to get a rise or interest in his next fight, I dont think he really has any other option anyway unless he's going to fight Margarito on his comeback...

floyds match making revolves around two things, first and foremost, #1) is protecting is "0"..... floyd isnt about to be an underdog in any of his fights, always the favorite so he doesn't have anything to worry about. #2) lining his pockets with the biggest payday possible without risk.

floyd likes to say it isnt about money, well if it isnt, then why not fight the tougher fighters out there that are available????? if it's not about money, and it's about legacy, how can one build up a legacy without fighting the fights and opponents the fans want? what fights the fans clamor for????

floyds hypocrisy is so transparent and his motives are in plain sight for everyone to see. fight the fights real boxing fans want to see, not what the media is trying to hype, because if you all see, even the media want floyd to fight pac and pushes mosley to the side, the only use mosley as a jumping off point to talk about pacquiao to set up a fight with floyd, and although that fight would be exciting, the real test is in mosley, at the very least they are the same size, and have the similar skill set.

now, with all that said, if floyd does fight the tough fights, i'm not saying that if he fights mosley, mosley is going to win, or williams, or anyone, i'm not saying if floyd fights them he's going to lose, because i think floyd can beat them all, but WILL HE EVEN GET INTO THE RING WITH THEM TO PROVE IT!!!!! if think that any of those guys can beat floyd but i also think that floyd can beat any of those guys, just, he has to get into the ring with them.

and another thing i can not stand about boxers in this position, because floyd isnt the only one to pull this type ****, but they use the past events or conversations to dictate what happens today or tomorrow!?!?!? what a crock of ****! get over fall outs from previous match making attempts, if there ever was any, it doesn't do, say, or make any difference in what is happening today. people changed their mind, people have different angles, things change period, so why let that affect making a fight now!!!! why because it's avoidance, it's a path of least resistance. and that goes for all boxers not just floyd, just floyd is who the thread is about, and it's also what he's doing.

Thats the thing, Whoever end up winning on November 14 would be made the guy to beat Mayweather and the Hype would kill the Mosley hype in minutes...

Am not totally in favour of the Mosley fight because people would say negative things about Shanes age if Mayweather sign to fight him and he doesnt get alot from beating him at this stage but we just have to wait and see how Pac-Cotto panned out.

Mosley is faded sadly (im big fan) but that win over Marg is all smoke and mirrors.
This is what i've been thinking for a long time. Mosley was being perceived as fading and old before the Margo fight. SSM received the perfect punching bag in that fight. He was losing rounds to Mayorga in the fight before that.

I agree 100% with your statement. Sugar Shame Mosley had (not one but two) chances and turned them both down! as he was a bigger draw at the time. Now that Mayweather is the bigger draw and will bring him the most money. He now decides that he want the fight, to fill his pocket.
In the real world it doesn't work that way at all. Shame Mosley shouldv'e had the dignity to have fought Mayweather when he was called out. His bad; and he have nobody to blame but him. The dude is very dumb and ignorant. I used to respect and admire him but lost all of that.
Mosley used to seem like a class act and a gentleman but that has changed since he has become desparate for money. I never understand why he wasn't as relentless about asking Cotto for a rematch? Or why he didn't except Paul Willliams' challenge? Or what happened to the Clottey fight? Or why a fight with Berto hasn't happened after he beat Margarito? Mosley is becoming more and more of a mystery to me as a fighter and as a man!!!!!

If you ask me its another excuse to avoid Mosley. More than ever it makes more financial sense since Shane Koed Margo. Now its that he blew it. If its that he got called out or the guy doesn't sell enough PPV or he has to many loses. Excuses, excuses, excuses.

He should straight out say he is gonna wait for the Pac/Cotto matchup and make a decision then. If that fight ends in spectacular fashion it will make more money for him the winner of that fight. If its a bore fest or contraversial Mosley might be the big money fight. Cause as you see more and more he is not interested in fighting the best and risking his undefeated record, it all about high pay day and low risk. What a waste of God given talent
