That's BS. There'll always be another opponent. Where does it end?

Again, Haney did NOT fight for his WBC title like Teo beat Commey for the IBF. Get real here, bro.

And of course a lot of these young fighters call out guys and "chase" titles but it rarely pans out because they win one meaningful fight then get insecure about whether they can dominate the next best challenger...not some tomato can.

Haney's NOT the real deal and some of you just don't wanna accept that. The only real men at Lightweight right now are Lomachenko, Kambosos and possibly Tank if he wants to jump in the mix. All of these other guys are glorified prospects who've built a reputation outside of the ring but hasn't taken care of business in the ring....or they don't take care of business like they're supposed to.

I know he did not fight for it. I didn't say he did. I just stated that Haney purposely went after Loma specifically. And he became mandatory. That's not just some internet call out. It should give him the fight he went after. Loma avoided him. That's fact. I'm not claiming Haney is the real deal. Time will tell who is and who isn't. But when you don't get the opportunity because the champion avoided you, you don't deserve the disrespect and ridicule that you and others have given him.

Listen....I'm gonna stop you right there. If he didn't fight for the title around his waist but you're arguing against a guy (Teo) who fought for the IBF title while seeking a Loma fight, then it's clear we're not having the same conversation.

If you see somebody stranded on the side of the road with their thumb raised high looking for help, would you stop? Okay, probably not. So, what about the guy that's stranded but he's pushing his car....don't you think he'll be taken more seriously and get help quicker? In the case of belts and bragging rights, that clearly goes to the man (Teo) who actually BEAT a champion to become champion, THEN went on to face Loma for what was believed to be undisputed of some sorts.,,and beat him. Devin is gunning for 2-0 in the "handouts" department.

Okay, so why are you defending a kid who didn't even fight for the belt around his waist? You're just touting about him "chasing" Loma but what prospect and/or contender hasn't done it? Most of them are fine with name-dropping and never landing the fights because it helps their "brand." Do you know how many guys have made a career on using another fighter's name but didn't do much of anything in the ring? Nothing new there.

And Loma ducked Haney???!!! Boy, if you don't get cho goofy ass on somewhere with that mess!

The idea that if Haney beats Kambosos he is undisputed is baseless. If he beats Kambosos he has all the belts, that's it. Undisputed means that there are no dispute, no question as to who is the best in the division. When you clean out the division like Usyk did, now you are undisputed.

Exactly! Haney's in his own world and feels as though this is his chance to be great! It is but there's literally no story behind his journey at Lightweight. I'll keep saying this until the cows come home....Lomachenko vs Kambosos is a FAR better fight than that of a Haney/Kambosos.

There's a storyline there with Kambosos vs Lomachenko and there's ZERO there for Haney. Promoting great fights actually stems from some type of storyline and/or interaction....Haney/Kambosos is a double side of mashed potatoes....no gravy.

I have no issue with Teo fighting for the IBF title. Fantastic win for him, and then naturally he went for Loma and deserved his win there. I've not criticised Teo at all. I'm simply saying Haney does not deserve the disrespect he has received, as it was not his fault that he did not fight for his belt. He done everything necessary to fight for his belt but was denied his shot. It is Loma who is responsible, not Haney. If Haney had done what Ryan Garcia then done, by becoming mandatory and then avoiding the Champ, then you would have a valid point. But he didn't do that. Haney aggressively pursued Loma. He made it no secret he was after Loma several fights before his final eliminator. Then he won that eliminator. What part of that then says he deserves to be avoided at that point? No part. He was denied the opportunity he deserved and then has been ridiculed since. I'm not denying he didn't win in the ring. But it was not what he asked for, so does not deserve disrespect. That's just the truth of it.
