No. I responded to your point by saying if it’s on Fox, sho or espn that would be more viewers but the site fee to do that would be huge.

Id much rather it not be a ppv but I don’t think that is likely given the fights Haymon puts on ppv are much worse than this and fighters work for different promoters.

I can't state those are accurate numbers, just what the article claimed and I am sure those numbers fluctuate a bit.

I can't speak for other DAZN subscribers, I can state that every time they have a fight, I watch it (same as every time FOX, Showtime or ESPN/ESPN+ have a fight I watch it).

I'd love for FOX or Showtime to air the fight on network/cable because that would generate the most amount of viewers/exposure and come at no additional cost to me. If that's not the case, then I'd want it on DAZN. If it's PPV, then at least stack the card to make it worth it.
ok. Last I saw the number was “approaching” that but that seems like lawyer wording for “ way below our target” and Isn’t specific.

Ok, I may not agree with all of that but I get where your coming from.

        2. the ppv sales are actual buys. Fair point that there are more DAZN subs than likely ppv sales, but will all of those households be watching?

You think more than 30% of DAZN subscribers would tune in for Crawford/ Porter?
of course they would. People slam DAZN and say they dont have any other content that Americans are interested in. If that is truly accurate, then the VAST majority of the US DAZN customers are buying it just for the boxing. So then of course they would tune in to one of the biggest fights of the year.......

Al Haymon would forbid Shawn Porter to fight on any other platform rather than his own.
Except that he allowed Mikey to fight Vargas.

Arum is probably trying to squeeze every penny out of the fight contact.

I can’t see it going to purse vids , would be cool if dazn piped it though

I see your point. The flattening of the sales would suggest otherwise and maybe it’s for premier league.

Is there anyway to gauge this? Ratings points? Stream numbers?

Do you think it would do more than Pac/Ugas' 250k buys? I really don't know. Crawford hasn't lit it up on PPV but he hasn't great matchups for pay per view. Does Porter as an opponent really change that?

I think it does, and I think it depends on the promoter! Have you noticed how Tank opened up ATL, and now suddenly Herring vs. Stevenson is headlining in ATL? There's definitely money in the Diaspora! Just depends on what you're looking to do? Triller's Music Line-ups sound very original to a 20-30 year old! "Rumble In The Jungle," Zaire '74, was organized by Hugh Masekela, performers were James Brown, Celia Cruz, B.B. King, Miriam Makeba, The Spinners, and Bill Withers! Did Ali vs. Foreman need that much push? I guess so? However now it's a historical event! Most people don't even know that Don King was also the promoter pf the Jackson 5 Reunion Tour! If Triller gets there hands on Crawford vs. Porter, they have a chance to change the game! Don't discount the music events! If the right person bridges Hip-Hop, Reggaeton, with something classic for the over 50 crowd, they could skyrocket!

personally i think it's all bs and both sides will make a deal like they did with wilder-fury.
the networks always step up, they dont want dazn getting this. bob is just being negative to force their hand.

I'd be willing to get the PPV if the card was loaded like Fury/Wilder III with an all HW contender undercard.

If the undercard ends up with showcase fights or Edwin Berlanga versus Khyrone Davis I will pass...
I can’t disagree with anything you have stated here. It is a high profile regular cable type fight. That goes a long way to show just how mismanaged Crawford has been
