Umm no we dont want this pointless fight. 10 years ago this would have been GOLD but now who gives a **** about these guys fighting when they basically done (well Jones and Hopkins getting close). Too much nastalgia from the people that actually give a **** about this potential fight

Im a fan of Both. Both excellent fighters. Bernard said Roy wanted to make this into a contest???!!! So boxing is no longer a contest? I guess for Bernard its more buisness that a boxing contest. After listening to that call in Houston, I lost a little respect for a fighter I truley enjoy watching break down his oppenents. I hope this fight happens and Roy kicks his ass. I think Bernanrd know Roys style clashes with his and will loss a decision. If Bernard is so confident of wining, 60% to winner and 40% to loser. The ball is in each of the fighters hands. Who wants it more? People may say Roy does not deserve 60% win or loss blah, blah. Roy's win, even though it was a long time ago, must stand for something. And that split of 60% to the winner is reasonable. Had Roy lost to Bhop in 93', then 60% win or lose to Roy not valid. Roy would have to take 40%. Just my opinion.

hopkins wanted one back in the day, but roy was an *******, now hopkins is returning the favor. i remember after he beat tarver, hopkins said he'd never fight roy again.

it's also funny to read roy saying hopkins should avenge his loss....take your own advice roy. the only elite, or should i say "were" elite fighters you have a chance against are tarver and johnson, and i personally think tarver gives it to roy again. roy maybe stands a chance against glen johnson, so he can chase him after he loses to dawson.

roy actually has a point...much as i think it'd be more impressive for hopkins to beat dawson, i'd actually love to see him send this clown into retirement. it's funny, after 2 KO's, almost 3, and a lopsided 12 round beatdown, this dude is still talking ****....priceless. time for roy to go. 60-40, and hopkins whoops that ass!

Bernard should take the fight ,its a PPV event , 60/40 for the winner , this may be Roy and Bernards last big pay day and we all know Bernard can never do the numbers Roy does on PPV. Anyway they both may both look good and get a trilogy and then retire .

Just asked my old man what he thinks of this fight if it happens again.

I don't think Bernard wants anything to do with Roy Jones Jr. I can't blame him though. If he wins he gains nothing, because Calzaghe already beat Jones, and it looks really bad if Jones beats him (which he would).

Styles make fights. Bernard will stay far away from Jones. He don't want none, evident by the fact old Bornard hung up on RJJ. LOL.

Hopkins should just be a man and admit he has nothing to gain by beating him and everything to lose by getting whooped by him. He can't use the money excuse, because he'll make more money fighting Jones than Adamek or Dawson.
