what do you mean a "high profile championship fight" who knew about glen johnson prior to that fight ? NOBODY. roy took on him cuz he saw his record and he thought the win would be so easy he wouldnt have to train as hard, so i agree wit you in the sense that roy wasnt prepared but not cuz of weight but cuz he took glen as a joke due to his record,maybe roy didnt do his homework otherwise he wouldve known at least 5-6 losess on johnson's record are disputable.
so again i tell you, when you say you know for sure that roy would beat all those fighters in his "prime" you are just GUESSING, anything can happen in boxing. before jeff lacy fought calzaghe he was a beast beating dudes around the ring, so if i say "if they wouldve fought before lacy fought calzaghe,lacy wouldve won" would you take me serious ? in the calzaghe fight roy was demolished, that KO wasnt even legit cuz it wasnt a punch.
