      Trinidad.
      Felix moves up to 160 in attempt to become the unified middleweight champ of the world. He picks up a belt against Joppy. The hopkins fight is made (a don king tournament intended to catapult Tito further into stardom to setup a fight against Roy Jones). Was it hopkins that seeked out this fight or was it brought to him? Everyone was looking past hopkins, people thought he was getting old, which is why he was a 7-1 underdog. What do you expect hopkins to do? Turn down the fight and NOT unify ALL of the middleweight belts for the first time since Haglar?!

      Oscar.
      Oscar CHALLENGED bernard. Hopkins was to make $10 million dollars, much more money than he's ever made in his career not to mention much more exposure. Everyone in boxing wanted to fight Oscar, everyone. He truly was the golden boy. How can you fault hopkins here? There were no big names at middleweight at the time, hopkins had already unified the division, he beat everyone who was anyone at 160. What's wrong with taking a money fight?

      Pavlik.
      It's really funny to even say pavlik is smaller since he is the same size as hopkins. But for one lets look what happened. Pavlik wanted Calzaghe. Calzaghe beats Bernard, then side steps kelly and goes after Roy Jones, Pavlik is left with no big name. Hopkins is availible and Pavlik already stating he wants HIS money fight, takes the fight. Hopkins was a 4-1 underdog and once again, people are saying hopkins will get KO'd for the first time of his career, even Freddie Roach expresses his concerns for the old man. So again, how is hopkins to blame here?

          He couldnt even KNOCK OUT Omar Sheika... who was retired for 2 years and out of shape.. and he STILL couldnt even put him DOWN..

          Now hes gonna knock out Bernard?

              Well Roy is about 3 years younger...just turned 40...all of B hops "career defining" fights came after he was 40

                      thats stoppage was premature...pointless fight anyways...

                      and naw i never said he would KO bernard..he would outbox him to a UD tho

                      Bernard has no high work rate nor does he impose pressure....he isnt about to out counter punch RJJ..
