i'm iffy bout this fight. Jones will either look real good, or prove that what everyone says about him being a shadow of who he once was whereas Bernard's actually been looking pretty good...guess the only way to find out is to have them fight

Roys beating Sheika and Lacy... and Bernard is beating Kelly Pavlik.

Are you slow or something reed? Why did you become a cheating hopkins fan over Roy? Hopkins cheated against Calzaghe and still got outboxed by him. Hopkins didn't deserve a split decision, he deserved a DQ for that performance.

as much as i love roy jones....bernard hopkins is the smarter fighter. roy relies too much on the physical. bernard hopkins is the most cerebral boxer of our era. him and nasim richardson come up with the blueprints to win time and time again. and lets not forget that bhop is still strong and he counter punches. tarver got a lucky counter on roy and KO'd him. what would happen with a flush, timed, well excuted hook from bhop on rjjs chin???

oh and whoever said its roy keeping the fight from happening not bernard......roy said it could be a prize fight and the winner would get their 60%. bernard didnt want that. they both deserve 60 but roy more than bernard because of his win. a prize is as good as it gets.

I don't know why you think Hopkins wont be able to land his right hand on a 40 year old roy since he was able to do so at will in the later rounds of their first fight back in 1993. And that's when Jones had legs and reflexes.

People act like Jones beat the crap out of hopkins. No, it was an extremely boring fight but Jones was more active of the two and clearly the more experienced of the two at the time. Go back and watch the later rounds if you forgot, hopkins was landing some good right hands in the later part of the fight.
