i would like to verify if this is the first time this is happening or is cotto fans the only one crying about having their boy having to pay sanction fees. i believe i've read multiple times that champs have to pay sanction fees for their fights title or no title. so why the bitching?

cotto needs to look for another alternative boxer to fight with and get paid $4M max or continue the bout with pacman and pay $150,000 sanctioning fee to put the belt on the line but with a $15M guaranteed purse.

You're alacrity to criticize anybody that does not kneel before Pac is blinding you man. We're talking about the audacity of the organizations to force fighters to pay them sanctioning fees any which way. Why do you think the WBO has named so many different champions: Interim, Super, In recess blah blah blah. Its their way to steal from everybody's hard earned work. And its not like the organizations are helping set up the best fights, if anything they make these fights much, much harder to make. Or are you defending their actions. Why don't you step up with some facts. This kind of shady **** happens all the time but it doesnt make it right. What has to be done is the following, regardless of how ridiculous it sounds: Cotto vacates and the WBO puts up the vacant title in case of a Manny win. If Cotto wins the title remains vacant and a mandatory between whatever two scrubs the WBO think are worthy is put up for a bid. This way everybody wins. Any problems with that?

yeah....cotto is being persecuted here....victim of a heinous crime...ive never heard of anyone paying his fees before...why are they doing this horrible thing to cotto.....poor guy.......i hope he gets justice....
