I wouldn't bet money on Pac winning by KO, but I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if it happens.

Also, Pac seems to be at his absolute peak right now, he has everything peaking at the right time as far as his skills, physical form and his mentality. Cotto, well I don't think I can say the same. He might be on the downslope just a tad. We shall see.
Again he just looks that way because of the level of opposition he has faced.

Imagine Pacquiao fighting Margarito Mosley and Clottey. i gaurantee who wouldnt go half as far as Cotto idd and he would probably lose to at least 2 of them.

USE LOGIC in this fight! because the cards arent stacked for Pac this time. Pacquiao is comfy at 135-140 but 147 the dudes are much bigger stronger and more skilled

i agree that pac ko'ing cotto doesn't make sense..

but so does pacquiao making de la hoya quit, and ktfo of hatton in 2 rounds doesnt make sense.

i doubted him so much, its kinda hard to bet against him at this point.

How does a completely drained Oscar De la Hoya stay on his feet with no problem?

How does Cotto take Everything Mosley Margarito and Clottey have to give but somehow cant take a natural 135lbers punches??

Some say speed. but Mosley fought 135 at one point and pretty much has the fastest hands at Welterweight. Cotto just timed him perfectly which will happen to the little filipino.

I dont get it!!! logic says that either the smaller man still adjusting to the heavier weight gets KOed or it goes the distance.

I say Cotto KOs pac in 6 rounds.

Beristains just salty that both his fighters couldnt pull a W on the Pacman

yall should stop making threads like this, you gonna jinx cotto. I mean anything can happen in a boxing match but, pac by ko is highly unlikely but not impossible.

funny how hatton is overated after one fight. what happened to the ' oh he is undefeated at 140 toughest fight for pac' talk. some of you posters write **** just to suit your agenda. hatton was the best at 140 for 4 years and pac destroyed him. i bet hatton would give cotto a run for his money.

Nope hatton was seen coming by everyone. Even Vegas had pacquiao winning. It wasnt the right for Hatton to make. Pacquiaos offense was too good for Hattons no defense.

De la Hoya was a surprise but he came in weight drained. Hell he even had me fooled in the 24/7 he was Ok at 147 with no problem.

Sad truth was he was on diueretics and diarheaing the week before fight night. they even had to hydrate him intravenously hours before the fight. If they didnt hydrate him like that De la Hoya probably wouldve came in at 138-140lbs.

So int he end it all is really logical if you get down to the facts.

You mention margarito mosley and clottey. Those three fights I believe took a lot out of cotto. He was beat down by margarito, took some monster shots against mosley and nearly lost and same goes with clottey. The guy is beginning to wear down, where as pacquiao is fresh as can be. That's something to consider.

Also, it's unfair to ask how pacquiao would do against those three opponents because Cotto is closer in size to pacquiao than any of the other guys.

Nobody but the brits really ever claimed Hatton to be dangerous. we all saw how vulnerable he was against floyd mayweather and after that he was a total wreck almost losing to Lazcano via KO. hes lucky the hometown ref let him tie his shoes and gave him time to recover or he wouldve been KOed by that journeymen.

On top of that his technique style and ring intelligence are below average. Anyone with good boxing skill wouldve beaten him. all the top guys at 147 wouldve done the same as pacquiao. Lets face it we all saw that Hatton loss coming.

I got red Ked by the brits like crazy when I claimed Pacquiao would end his career. Thats logic. Cotto is a whole different animal

sure, pacquiao was favored to win against Hatton, but NO one thought pacquiao would dominate like he did. No one said Pacman KO 2. No one said Hatton would go down first round two times. That was not logical thinking.

The consensus was it would be a tough fight, but Pac would pull a head in the later rounds and either win by TKO in rounds 10-12 or win a decision.

a linear champ at 140 that is undefeated at that weight division is no bum. pac had the style advatage, yes! but for people to ridicule pacs opponents just to suit their agenda is bull. i said this along time ago watch people call hatton overated once pac beats him, and everyone was saying we will give pac props, look what has happened!

Thats only in the eyes of the Pacquiao fans.

again Its the level of opposition. You cant fight WORLD CLASS COMPETITION and expect to Look even on another level than World Class. You have to overcome it. which he did.

All this Margarito jazz is gettin ot too many ppl He came back and beat the toughest fighter at WW aside from Paul Williams. What more do you need? Clottey was never going to get KOed hes too strong and Cotto fought with one eye and a bad cut.Give props and respect where its due

Pacquiao was handed two steaks on a platter with Hatton and De La Hoya. Pacquaio couldve came in at 130lbs and beaten them both
