    Foolishness.

Take it from someone who predicted this fights outcome.

Calzaghe WOULD NEVER be able to hold his hands at his side against a prime Jones. We all saw what Jones did to Toney. This is evidence of Jones shot reflexes.

It would be a competitive fight that either man could win. I would predict a Prime Jones win.

Im not biased either, I picked Calzaghe to win this by wide UD.

I didn't see him look old and washed up against Trinidad... That was how long ago? 10 months ago? lol

So he went from a still competitive fighter to a washed up bum in 10 months. I don't think so...

I don't see any difference in the outcome if it were 10 or or 15 years ago.

Calzaghe owns Jones at any age. His style just plain overwhelms Jones and Jones is not a good technical fighter.

Get over it, quit crying, man up, and admit your boy got soundly beat by the better fighter, and the outcome would of been the same regardless if it was 5 or 10 years ago.

He looked pretty ****ing washed up against Trinidad. Trinidad was washed up to. all Jones had to do was throw 5 punches per round. You clearly have not seen a Prime Jones fight, he was one of the most elusive targets to hit and had blazing handspeed and power. Calzaghe would be overwhelmed. It would have been like the Hopkins fight only zaghe would get Tagged a whole lot more.

If you don't think Jones is washed up, then I assume Tarver is better than a Prime Jones? so is Johnson then right?

      This thread is ****ing ******.

LMAO @ using the Tito Trinidad fight when you know that both guys were shot and Roy Jones didn't look like his old self in that fight.

So a prime Roy Jones would throw one punch at a time and cover up in the corner instead of moving? Yeah, right. You make Calzaghe fans look bad.

Why is a win over Jones at this stage meaningful? Jones has already been Koed by lesser fighters. He was past it, now all the ****ing zaghe fans think Joe beats a Prime roy, absolutely ****ing delusional.

Tyson couldn't overwhelm Kevin McBride AT ALL and his power isn't that much better than McBride's at all.

WTF does that matter, shot fighters look bad!

There is not sufficient evidence to believe that Joe would have beaten a 26-34 year old Roy Jones Jr. Beating a 39 year old Roy with post-concussion syndrome does not really give sufficient reason to think Roy would have lost to Joe 5 years ago. I was just watching Ray Leonard vs Terry Norris and Camacho. Fighters get old. It's what happens.

And as has already been pointed out, the Tito example you used was pretty bad. I guess you are just basing the idea that Joe would beat Roy prime for prime on speculation and gut feeling.

Jesus christ I should have made even more ROY is SHOT threads throughout the years. I guess saying that in every post wasn't enough.

NEWSFLASH: nothing changed since last week. Roy was and is shot really BADLY.
