Calzaghe beats Jones at any age.

Not only would RJJ have had trouble with Calzaghe, he would of lost, even 10 years ago. He looked bad not because he was really washed up as many of you would claim, but because Calzaghe is just plain to much for him.

I didn't see him look old and washed up against Trinidad... That was how long ago? 10 months ago? lol

So he went from a still competitive fighter to a washed up bum in 10 months. I don't think so...

I don't see any difference in the outcome if it were 10 or or 15 years ago.

Calzaghe owns Jones at any age. His style just plain overwhelms Jones and Jones is not a good technical fighter.

Get over it, quit crying, man up, and admit your boy got soundly beat by the better fighter, and the outcome would of been the same regardless if it was 5 or 10 years ago.

        LOL at using Tito

You know Tito's best was at 147 and Hopkins proved he is not even good at 160

I can't wait till Joe retires so these casual crazy annoying fanboys can leave and go watch UFC instead.

I kind of agree, but I don't want to fight roy jones jr fans here out of respect for roy. Because roy is one talented individual, but so is calzaghe who still doesn't get respect from people. Any version of Calzaghe is a bad style for roy.

              Prove otherwise?

The fact is, we have one thing to go by on this, and that's the beating Joe gave Roy last night.

Roy wasn't so far slid that he would have had that beating from a bum, so Calzaghe must be a great fighter.

It was also one sided enough to suggest that Calzaghe could have beaten Roy at any time.

I don't think he would, but he wouldn't have disgraced himself, and it would probably be a SD.

show and prove not show and tell

if joe could have beaten prime jones...he should have done so instead of fighters with records of 23 and 25

There's part of me that agrees and part that disagrees. Jones couldn't hit Calzaghe AT ALL when Calzaghe 'adjusted' like he always does and his handspeed isn't that much better than Joe's at all. We'll never know though which is a shame.
