      I haven't read anything that stated ROY wanted to "KO" Joe Calzaghe.... as far as a CON-ARTIST how can you make jokes about Roy Jones Jr when you are defending the biggest CON-ARTIST in boxing today????? Makes no sense...

        Where in my post did I defend Joe Calzaghe? You might need to re-read what I wrote.

        Roy Jones is one of the biggest conartists in boxing. Yes, in his prime he was the man. He had skills galore, but he's always been a shrewd business man first, a con artist second and a boxer third.

        What happened to that guarantee he made in the Tito fight? He didn't even try for a KO.

        What happened to him trying to win the 3rd Tarver fight? Roy did nothing in those fights.

        Roy knows he's shot as hell and all he's trying to do these days is collect a paycheck from the blind sheep that will buy into his con-game.

            Guys, I can understand a post or 2 dissing Roy and Cal, but they are going to the H.O.F. Both will be in the H.O.F. You can talk Cal ducked Pav, Ca'ls has no resume, Roy got knocked the !@## out at age 35, Roy never fought anyone but a weight drained Toney...say anything you want. They are both going to the H.O.F.

                    Agreed to a certain degree, I think Jones was scared of being KO'ed AGAIN in the tarver 3 fight. I think he knew he had the WIN in the bag VS Tito and wanted to just be in the ring 12 rounds (My guess) and I feel he is not scared of anything from Joe... I think Jones is coming to this fight prepared to go all 12 and I think he knows what to do to win... as far as his past, LEGEND and will always be.... I don't think Joe is expecting the Jones that will be there to fight on September...

                      I think it's common knowledge that Joe and Roy are going to the HOF.

                      There is no debating that. All I'm saying is that Roy Jones is once again conning the public.

                      Calzaghe should be greatly criticized for SELLING OUT and taking the easy fight. Calzaghe's fans talk like he's some type of warrior that fights with pride, but he's no different from MONEY MAYWEATHER or any other heavily criticized athlete nowadays.

                      Where the money goes is where the fighter goes. Bottom line.

                      If Joe was true to the game then he would have fought Pavlik, Abraham, Dawson or Tarver. Instead he chooses the con man... Hilarious!
