Nobody's had more micky mouse fights than Mayweather. Maybe Roy Jones comes close but as far as HBO nobody's had more micky mouse fights than Mayweather and then he talks about Pacman and Pavlik.

It's the way that Lampley and Larry will blatantly state that the boxing world needs a heavyweight equivalent of ODH with him sitting in the studio, after he beat Oscar. It's the way boxing media are willing to already talk about Pac's place in the HOF, but Floyd has to do more? WTF? It's not Pac's fault, I like the little guy, but sorry, these things will get to you. We may well be hearing about his return in December.

Not one of these things stink of racism. What it does stink of is floyd being a little brat. Things aren't the way Floyd wants them............it can't be him, its gotta be racism. Sorry, but that just doesn't fly with me. If you can go into clubs and throw money at strangers, If you can brag about all your money and bling, you should be able to accept the fact that a lot of people aren't going to like you and some are even going bto be resentful. That
doesn't make it hateful in the way he is descibing it.

Is that what made people hate Floyd? 24/7?
I don't think just 24/7 but Floyd's attitude isn't exactly respectful to the sport or its fighters. Hatton could say that HBO doesn't like white fighters or doesn't like British fighters because they talked about how he holds a lot during fights. Sure we would all know it's BS but he could still try to spin it that way. The fact is certain fighters are fan friendly with their styles and attitudes and others are not.

But some of it is to blame on Mayweather himself for being too frail, for exposing his family, the strength of a person comes from his family and he was talking about his dad and mom on national tv. He was too flashy and he talked too much ****, that didn't help.
Yet it is true the HBO crew are racist as are almost all of boxing's major outside-the-ring players. Specially towards black fighters.
Pavlik is a very good fighter and very likable. But don't be fooled, if he was a black fighter he would be constantly pressed to the next then the next then the next challenge (until he loses to a white guy, then he's ok) instead of being praised like Kelly is, even if he is a nice guy.
Also black fighters that play nice get an horrible treatment, look at Shane Mosley, he was a awesome fighter in his prime, now he's a stepping stone for the likes of Cotto (but he's ok since he's not on top) and he's already 36. When people talk of him they say "who's next for Shane Mosley" while at the same time the white fighters go "One more and then retirement" PEACE, they are not disturbed, nobody is asking them the tough questions.
                    None of this is new.
You're a ****in idiot. Roy Jones was basically built on the network and the comentators have never said anything negative about him. That blows your little BS theory all to hell. The comentators are allowed to favor whoever they want, and race has nothing to do with that. Kelly Pavlik happens to be a great guy outside the ring too, so they can probably relate to that more than a rich , unprofessional , sagging , ****y , overzelous little prick like Floyd Mayweather. I bet that means nothing to you either. I like how racist claims can still make a mark in boxing, even though it is known that blacks mostly dominate the sport. I guess this will never stop. White America has been forced to understand and become intertwined with african Americans, but blacks don't seem to want to embrace the movement as well. Our government is structured with blacks in mind. The next president will be black for crying out loud. So you and Floyd can both kiss mine and the HBO crews a55 and stop whining. The only favortism that exists is because Floyd himself provoked it with his actions.

I Could make a whole thread about this alone....

But I think The HBO Announcement team, Are Pretty Fair except for Manny Steward. Manny Steward is MAYWEATHER's most Bias commentator and Critic .... Period...

Jim Lamely and Larry Merchant have called the fights for almost all of Floyd Career..

And They have had their moments, where you can say, they are being to overly critical, and they also had they moments were they give Floyd his respect..

The Problem they have is, They are not balance in their Announcement.

                      The Hatton fight for example..:

All of them said BEFORE THE FIGHT (On fight night),
                      • "My heart is for Hatton.."
                      • but my head says "Mayweather"

What Fair Minded Announcers would say that, right before the fight..
                      and

you could see they felt that way because during 2/3 of the fight they were making every excuse they could into why Mayweather Could Lose the fight...

They even had Hatton winning 5 Rounds, Some rounds where Mayweather Landed twice as Many Punches then Hatton landed, but they gave the round to Hatton..

Not until the 8th Round when Mayweather show that the knock out was coming did they start saying that Hatton is bring the best out of Mayweather...That's the Problem.... THE HBO crew have no Balance...

Thats the Problem Mayweather Has with them...

IT SEEMS LIKE THEY WANT TO SEE HIM LOSE...

AND IF YOU ARE A FAIR MINDED COMMENTATOR THAT PERCEPTION SHOULD NOT EXIST...

BUT WITH THE HBO CREW IT DOES...

YOU GET THE FEELING THAT THEY WANT TO SEE MAYWEATHER LOSE...
