A new $26 million jet, a new $18.5 million Las Vegas home, another home worth $11 million in Miami, and a $20 million yacht.
hes def. frustrated
I don't doubt that he lives comfortably, with enough money to live so for the rest of his life. But there's just something about it, seeing another man take your place as the best in boxing without settling it in the ring.
Ali and Leonard made a lot of money out of boxing but they kept coming back for more... I bet Mayweather will too. I could be wrong.

My money would be on you being right. And sooner rather than later.
Jeff Lacy has lost to a white fighter. Everyone knows blacks are ok if they lose to white fighters.
But some of it is to blame on Mayweather himself for being too frail, for exposing his family, the strength of a person comes from his family and he was talking about his dad and mom on national tv. He was too flashy and he talked too much ****, that didn't help.
Yet it is true the HBO crew are racist as are almost all of boxing's major outside-the-ring players. Specially towards black fighters.
Pavlik is a very good fighter and very likable. But don't be fooled, if he was a black fighter he would be constantly pressed to the next then the next then the next challenge (until he loses to a white guy, then he's ok) instead of being praised like Kelly is, even if he is a nice guy.
Also black fighters that play nice get an horrible treatment, look at Shane Mosley, he was a awesome fighter in his prime, now he's a stepping stone for the likes of Cotto (but he's ok since he's not on top) and he's already 36. When people talk of him they say "who's next for Shane Mosley" while at the same time the white fighters go "One more and then retirement" PEACE, they are not disturbed, nobody is asking them the tough questions.
None of this is new.
I agree. There are so many ways in which Floyd hasn't helped himself imo. But that's not to say his point isn't valid about racism...I think a lot of the hatred he has is down to his race as well. It's a factor, I don't care about no Tyson, Ali SRL blah blah. Floyd is just one of them blacks that people just can't stand.

Wow!! That there is worth it's weight in Gold! Outstanding post!
In his first interview since announcing his retirement from the sport of boxing several weeks ago, Floyd Mayweather Jr. spoke with David Mayo of the Grand Rapids Press and blasted HBO and their announce team, calling the network and announcers a bunch of racists.
"Even a guy like Jim Lampley, he praises Kelly Pavlik -- who has won some good fights, he beat Jermain Taylor twice, we have to give him credit for that -- but they talk about Kelly Pavlik, a white fighter, like he's the second coming Or they go crazy over Manny Pacquiao. But I'm a black fighter," Mayweather said. "Is it racial? Absolutely. They praise white fighters, they praise Hispanic fighters, whatever. But black fighters, they never praise.
"I've noticed it for a long time but I couldn't say anything because I had to do business with them. I'll still do business with them, but I'm done holding my tongue. I think HBO is great. But their announcers are full of (expletive)."
Mayweather criticized the network's announcers for a bias against black fighters, and for not treating their own indiscretions as seriously as those committed by people they cover, during an exclusive interview with The Press.
"Jim Lampley, Larry Merchant, Emanuel Steward, they're always talking about the negative things in my life," Mayweather said. "But I've seen Jim Lampley in the same strip club as me before. They always want to talk about me going to strip clubs, but they don't want to talk about that.
"He caught a court case himself, too. But when they catch a case, all they do is take them off the air a couple weeks, then it's over."
You know what...I've always like Floyd style.....It take skill to not stop punches with your head or it hit but not get hit.
The man is rich......the man was the 2nd highest paid athlete in all of sports last year behind Woods...not even Oscar has broke the top 5 highest paid list for any year.
That say alot....the man is the onlu p4p king to not loss his title by defeat (unlike Jones, Hopkins, etc)...he retired...
I don't like Pavlk, Gatti, or Pacquiao style of fghting either but I cannot diminish their accomplishment either so don't do Floyd.
No peers: On the identity of the new pound-for-pound king -- generally considered to be Pacquiao, the lightweight champion from The Philippines -- Mayweather said he had no opinion on the debate anymore.
"I'm so far ahead of those other bums, I couldn't even tell you," he said.

floyd is just a type of person people can't stand. It has nothing to do with his color and much to do with how he conducts himself outside the ring. This interview is a perfect example. Instead of being a goodwill ambassador of the sport, he's putting down other fighters. Instead of being grateful for everything the sport and HBO has made possible for him, he rips them with unsubstantiated allegations. Floyds a great fighter, but he's also a little *****.
Lol, Emanual Steward is biased against black fighters.
manny stewart is biased against fighters who run around, who don't give the public exactly what they want, and who are always talking **** in press conferences.
This is the second time Floyds done this to Hbo. The first when Mayweather turned down a deal with Hbo worth 10 million dollars and called it slave wages, only to go back to Hbo and say, "im sorry i'll take the 10 mil"
Floyd just mad that ain't exciting as some other boxers. Maybe he should change his boxing stlye and be a slugger like his uncle was.
