However it wasnt that their racist, i dont think that, i do think they have their preference of fighters though, definately, thats one thing you all complain of all the time, and its true, they do treat different fighters differently.
Alot of the criticism he gets he brings upon himself partly with interviews like this though and wording **** wrong. Im sure ill have everyday on boxingscene to remind me regardless.

Marquez:aside the 1st round whipped pac easily in the first fight.I had Marquez winning every round except the first and i had him winning that fight. The rematch i thought 35 year old Marquez won that one also.
Oscar Larios is not all that and you know it.
David Diaz is nothing.

If Floyd fought those same fighters we would have never heard the end of "those fighters was old"Last edited by flodistheshizle; 07-04-2008, 10:56 PM.

The problem is that you only hear the criticism. He'll certainly get more props for fighting Mosley than fighting nobody. Plus a chance to show up Cotto if he wins big. More money too.

[QUOTE=Shem;3722059]I said some of the comments didn't sit all that well with me, but I can see why he'd think it's partly down to racism.
Nothing ever stinks of racism. Racism can be more subtle than that. You get actor Charlie Sheen calling his wife a ****** and then getting caught out. Nothing he'd ever have said to his friend Todd would have stunk of racism. Or dog the bounty killer caught on tape calling his son a ****** lover. Nobody would know these prominant figures hold these thoughts and feelings. Anway I digress. I agree with the bloke, and I'll leave it there on the racism issue.QUOTE]
The whole point is HBO is a conglomerate that helped make Floyd even after his "slave wages" comment. NOTHING he has brought up about this so called racist behavior rings true. And everything smacks of sour g****s because he's upset that he isn't being percieved the way he thinks he should be. He should be thanking HBO for making him a star. If he had a specific example of racist behavior (even though I don't like him) I would recognize it and hear him out. This rubbish.....like I said, sour g****s fromn ba spoiled brat who think everybody owes him something.

Believe me,he fights and beat Cotto they`ll have an excuse."Floyd waited to when Cotto was washed up to fight him" ,"Cotto was never all that anyway"
or whatever they could dream up.
Floyd loses:"he was exposed","He finally fought someone good and got exposed"

How about Paul Williams? Clottey? Any top welter for that Matter.
In 3 years he fought 1 dangerous welterweight fight... Judah. I'd love to see him fight Cotto, but and top fighter from his division would get him more props than what he's getting.
