Sitting on your wins doesn't cut it and it doesn't guarantee you can't get ktfo in your next fight. All he really has to do to sustain his status is to fuel the public's praise by putting on an excellent performance every couple of years and he's back on top for a couple more. Quite franlkly it's marketing ingenuity

According to you, NO BOXER does any one thing better than Floyd. Does that mean Floyd shouldnt fight anyone, being that he is better than everybody pfp? What does Oscar or Hatton do better than Floyd, since u have no problem seeing those rematches?

See this is what i'm talking about, u spinning. I don't got know problem with him fighting Cotto. Cotto can get it, when Floyd feel like he earned it. But to answer your question I think Oscar has a better or rather stronger jab than Floyd when he throws it.

For everybody that likes Floyd, be a fan of BOXING first, not his "lifestyle, flashy" ****. That's really some girl, groupie ****. Everything that Floyd says don't mean it's right, and if you agree with ALL the decisions he's making right now, I can't take you serious as a boxing fan.

I mean, **** I'd respect him if he said, "I would love to fight Cotto right now, but I have some money to make.".

boxing don't stop with Floyd. I'm just not mad that he want fight Cotto tomorrow. Pacman vs marques great fight, Pavlik/taylor great fights. Jone /Trinidad was even good. Mosley/Judah shoudl be good. Boxing don't stop with floyd.

Slightly above average. He fought the 2006 undisputed champ of WW division in Zab. He then fought the linear champ of the WW division in Baldomir. Then he took on a supposed threat In hatton which alot of people on this site was typing away for and talking this same mess that they talking about Cotto now. Then he even went above the WW divison and foguht a JR MW champ in Oscar who would beat most the WW champs right now. And that is just above average? Wow!!!

Stop being a Floydboy, and think for yourself. Never mind who Floyd feels has earned a shot at him. Who do YOU feel has earned the right to face Floyd next? The fact that u have no problem with Floyd rematching Oscar and Hatton prior to him facing Cotto, tells me what kind of fan u are.

Cotto doesn't need any other belts to Fight Floyd. He is a known fighter, it is a fallacy that he is an unknowned fighter. The argument of Cotto needing 2 more belts in order to bring attention or create a buzz is sbsurd.

A lot of talk about PPv numbers, and who does what and so forth. Floyd is making Ppv numbers because of the guys he fights. Floyd fought Gatti , who was a mainstream figure, known by Joe Blow from Idaho. Floyd batters gatti and creates a buzz which translates to interest in his other PPvs. My point , Floyd needed Gatti in order to make a name for himself.

Cotto turns pro in 2001. He makes his PPv debut in 2006. That's 5 yrs.
Floyd turns pro in 96. He makes his PPv debut in 2005. That's 9 yrs.

Floyd has the numbers over Cotto not only because he has fought gatti and Oscar but because he has more yrs in the boxing game. Cotto has already built his base, now he will expand and attract others who will want to see him. For a guy who is an unkwon fighter and brings nothing to the table, 400,00+ ppvs is pretty good.
