When has Floyd EVER said anything bad about RJJ? When he's been asked in the past if he's better than RJJ he smiles and says "of course why would you even ask". It seems to me like an inside joke between the two.

"GL: Roy, you've yet to speak on this and reports have been made (by Aladdin Freeman and Elisa Harrison, which was then followed up by Scoop Malinowski) that you tested positive for steroids after you fought Richard Hall.
RJJ: All that was, and I'm gonna tell you exactly what they talking bout. There's this thing Ripped Fuel that they sell over the counter. Now they don't allow you to take Ripped Fuel, they asked me what I took and I admitted I did take Ripped Fuel because it was under the guides of GNC. They were trying to say no you can't take that, and I never took that from that point on.
After that, I got together with someone who knows what you can take and can't take, that's why it never happened again. I was like .05, Hall was like way up there from something that might not have been over the counter. Ripped Fuel and 4-WAY (nasal decongestant) that's why that whole thing happened, and matter fact I took two other tests, they came back cool."-btalk.netLast edited by Truth; 07-04-2007, 05:04 PM.

[QUOTE]Originally posted by McNulty View PostI'm not shocked to see this from PBF @all. Hes living in RJj's shadow and he knows it. RJj started the whole counter-punching [as a style] movement and PBF was effected by it. Thats all he does is the RJj counter check hook all night and its not as good as RJj's either...lol.
If roy jones had the type of defensive skills that floyd has, he would of never gotten knocked out no matter if past his prime or not but he doesn't. He lacks fundementals and he thought he could get away with putting on muscle to move up to heavyweight and then going back down to light-heavy for a payday but he couldn't.
Roy wishes right about now he could do the shoulder roll

floyd hasn't accomplished anything compared to roy. roy beat a 44-0-2 prime james toney and won just about every round, he also beat a 26 year old b-hop. floyd has never faced anyone close to as good as those two and especially not in their primes. he beat a 34 year old oscar who fights once every 2 years. and that is his best win. those two fights alone point out how much better a prime roy was than a prime mayweather.
