The steroids that boxer would benefit from are steroids that will enable boxers to fight longer with endurance and in a competition be stronger. Bigger muscles from testosterone make one need more energy and hence slower in boxing for the short run.
The steroid for boxers is called EPO. It stimulates red blood cells hence aiding the oxygenation of blood...more gas=faster. If you know about the Tour De France steroid scandal you'll know what EPO is.

It's unfortunate the PBF feels he needs to diss Roy Jones Jr. RJJ was a bad dude, who, not unlike Floyd, didn't really have much competition during his prime. Both have suffered from the same unfair critique that they never fought anyone great. Both PBF and RJJ fought the top guys in their division, it's just that the top guys were not even close in skill level to them. I think the most disappointing thing about PBF is that there are guys out there right now (mostly Welterweights) who he needs to fight to secure his legacy, and I just don't see that happening.

he's just saying he's not gonna be one of those guys who doesn't know when to pack it in. he could have said it more respectfully but what he said was true, roy's got money, legacy, and there is nothing to gain from coming back again and again to fight b level contenders.

If Hopkins wanted some, he should have taken the fight

Bernard wanted 50-50. Roy jones offered him a VERY FAIR 60-40 deal and Bernard turned it down, Roy was the bigger name and the more popular fighter.
"60/40 , I whup yo' ass".

roy is one of my fav fighters
but he is wrong on this one.
he's jealous cuz he's not the king and someone else is shining so he's hating on floyd
floyd is simply just defending himself
and what he said was true roy did fall off pretty hard, which is something most boxers do anyways at some point in their career
as far as competition lets be real here floyd has fought waaay better comp than roy ever did
