He also should have been a champion at 175 too, I had him winning both fights with Griffin and you'd have to be blind to score the 2nd fight for Griffin. He won a title at HW and got stripped over a technicality when he was prescribed stuff for an injury but beat Ruiz because he was skilled and better.

On a personal note, when working bags still I keep Toney in mind and remember to relax like he is in the ring, its why he could be a little overweight and be fine to fight 12 and guys like Jermain Taylor would gas late because he was so tight throwing every jab as a power jab.

Jones Jnr had more natural physical ability.whereasToney had more real boxing skills ,imo,but as a pro lacked the mental discipline,similar to Bowe.

Well i posted vids no average fighter made midcard fighting like any guy in the 20s-50s in 70s-90s that's not a coincidence
