    Joe louis

    sharp, fast and without tell

although a shell of his former self, the veteran louis displayed a perfect jab in his last bout

people always default to Holmes because his jab was flashy. But liston, foreman and Ali also had better jabs than him. I think he comes 5th in the list

louis. liston. Ali. Foreman. holmes. Thats my list

        - - The Ks, especially Wlad by their records after being handicapped turning pro with their Ama trainer with none knowing much about how western boxing is fought and scored.

Tubby Lar who used to be skinny never beat a standing champ having won his title in the ring, ie being by every one of those kinds of heavies.

Wlad won several fights with almost nothing by left jabs and hooks.

The Klit's trainer was a very experienced pro trainer as I told you before.
Here are some of those he trained.
Wlad won the world title under Sdunek and made 5 successful defences with him .

Only 11 of Wlad's 64 wins went to points,so how much of a factor was his jab?

In his 69 fights how many times do you think Wlad fought in the East? Try 4.

As an amateur Wlad fought in Rome 4 times,Atlanta 4 times,Denmark 4 times.

I am satisfied with your breakdown.

Overall I would go with Ali because I would think he threw more jabs than those mentioned and used them for more purposes and in more ways including mind games and distraction and even comedy to kill the opponent's confidence. He was able to throw a pretty good power jab too when he needed to. He had more types of jabs, his jab was more versatile IMO.

Liston 1a and Holmes 1b. Ali's was a rapier that sliced opponents up. Louis' is seriously underrated these days. I think Foreman's gets overrated at times. Floyd Patterson's is underrated, I think. Those are the ones that really stand out to me. That I can remember, anyway.

                - - Ali threw mostly ghost air jabs in his prime year while moving around. He never dominated with a single hand like Wlad did with his left hand.
