I would think the war would take its toll on both countries. How many Russian men who would be potential boxing greats have lost their lives or limbs in combat this past year? How many were drafted into the military, hundreds of thousands? Russians also tend to hang around too long in the amateurs before turning pro.

Russia's economy is going to collapse; only fighters who leave Russia for the west will be able to find the necessary economic structure amd infrastructure to pursue a professional career.

They threw away their republic and went the (self proclaimed) 'great man' route. They made their bed now they get to die in it.

America is heading down the sane rabbit hole always looking for one man to solve all their problems. These 'great men' are in the process of teaching Americans to give up on, and even disdain, their republic.

We are rapidly becoming third world peasants as self proclaimed great men teach us how to chant hate and disrupt elections.

Thank God for Sleepy Joe *****. He is showing us that America can run just fine, even be great, without a King Donald or King Ron to lead us.

But I fear it's too late, our republic began its decline into the abyss on Janurary 6th 2021 and will likely never recover.

We lost faith in ourselves and now want a great man's c-ock to suck so we can feel safe.

Our problems and solutions don’t rest with one man. Our unfortunate dilemma is also part of our strength—a two party system that can’t get out of its own way. Can’t agree on anything which bottlenecks progress and stifles growth. Today we have more agendas than ever. No one believes in a win-win outcome, it’s all a zero sum game. Every aspect of our lives are divided. Even boxing. Look at NSB, every rivalry is an us-against-them battle of attrition, tribal warfare; Mayweather vs Pacquiao, Fury vs Wilder, PBC loyalists versus fighters under other promoters, Showtime vs DAZN.

Not to say sports rivalries aren’t divisive by nature, but when the fight was over we all went back to our normal lives, be it Ali vs Frazier, Holmes vs Cooney, Cowboys vs Steelers, Yankees vs Dodgers, etc. We were all Americans.

The US population what with legal ********s went into dead in the water, especially severe re the black population, uncountable millions of ********s.

Some of the newer gens seem to have reversed that from what I see in the media and my neighborhood, but it's the Latinos, primarily Mexicans both legal citizens and illegals who have insanely high birth rates that are closing in on being the plurality in my hometown, maybe 10 yrs away from the majority.
