saying 46 plus the 17 people that got on would make it 63 people total now
however, the 19 that got off would now make it 27 people now on the train.
simple, the difference in people getting on and off is (-2) meaning 2 more people got off than got on, so if there are now 63, then 63+2=65
or you can do 65-19=46, 46+17=63 63 is how many people are now on
yes that is what they are asking....
X amount of people were on the train at the beginning
19 people got off the train in the 1st stop
17 people get on on that same stop
there is 63 total people now...
HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE IN THE TRAIN AT THE BEGINNING!?
imo that translates to X-19+17= 65
how do some of ya not even include the 19 is beyond me
