I can't believe Canelo fans are really out there trying to say BJS has a chance on the cards

This is supposed to a hardcore boxing fan site. We all know how the game goes. When you are the superstar/prospect/home fighter, you will almost always get the rounds you need in a fight. When you are the biggest star in the sport, who makes everyone else in boxing rich, you will get even more 'help' than the above mentioned group.

You cannot claim to be a hardcore fan of this sport, and simultaneously not know how this stuff works. It is as obvious to all of us as realizing that the sky is blue.

Canelo is a great fighter. He is always consistent and getting better. BJS, you never know what you're going to get. If Nasal-spray BJS shows up, we could get a competitive fight. Even then, he has no chance of winning on the cards. For a neutral fan like me, it takes away the interest in watching the fight. The outcome is predetermined.

Canelo is the top p4p fighter at the moment but he does have the some cards favoring him in a few fights. He had a draw in a card with Floyd, run away win on cards against Trout, Lara and GGG. Canelo is not a pressure fighter or an active offensive fighter but he still gets the benefit of doubt in the cares.

CJ Ross is not involved with boxing, and if she really had bias she could’ve easily gave another swing round to make a 115-113 card. Byrd had Khan beating Canelo.

Nah it wasn’t a shut out. Floyd didn’t do anything until after the 3rd run. Two Champs unifying and Floyd was extra careful. The first 3 rounds Floyd even got touched. There was nothing special about Floyd in the first 3 rounds. From round 4-9 Floyd did what he had to do and did it nicely, but from 10-12 Canelo turned it up and Showtime couldn’t even make highlights of the late rounds because they were protecting their house fighter and his contract. Floyd was on the run in the later rounds.
