I made the thread because honestly I was shocked when I saw people discussing this fight. Saying how BJS could outbox Canelo and win on the cards. Like even for NSB, it was ridiculous.
If Floyd could outbox Canelo and win on the cards why can't Saunders?
Alvarez has a whole country behind him and they show up, support him and cheer whenever he throws a punch, whether it lands or not.
And that don't hurt with the judges.
History shows us that if you can beat Canelo clearly you will get the decision on the cards.
That's the thing, though...you have to beat him clearly like Floyd did.
Golovkin couldn't clearly separate himself from Canelo in 24 rounds and instead got into close fights with him that could have gone either way. His fans keep crying about it to this day but it is what it is.
If Saunders can win clearly then he should have no trouble getting the decision on the cards.
You literally can't beat a guy like Canelo much clearer than GGG did in the first fight. You're not going to dominate a guy like that for 12 rounds. Best you can hope is to clearly win about half and the other half be pretty close, which is what both GGG fights were really.
Just stop trying to act like Canelo isn't getting the cards he needs man. Just stop it lol.

Golovkin didn't win clear. Stop crying about it.
Winning clear would be what Floyd did, if Saunders is good enough to do something similar to that then he can win on the cards just like Floyd.
