I'm pretty sure he's copped bans for those "other issues" in the past.....

how about micheal spinks,,, he made huge money off the tyson fight, but did he keep it or his he broke by now?? Does anyone know
Spinks has always been intensely private about his personal affairs.. Remained close friends with his promoter Butch Lewis, throughout his retirement, and is only ever seen at events promoted by Lewis, which isn't many, if any? these days..
Michael definitely kept his money though.. Bought a 7 bed pad, and stayed well away from temptation, and brother Leon, I'd imagine.. But I know that he played a long supporting role in the career of nephew, Cory (Leon's son)

EDIT - Butch Lewis died in 2011..

McGuigan.....despite his epic fall-out, bitter legal wrangles with Eastwood and the Nelson fight never happening.

Very smart lad and no doubt helped by the fact that the Clones Cyclone was helping to run the family greengrocers shop well before he was being paid to throw a punch. Reading his book right now; a smart, decent man.

Bugner as well, but then took a massive hit by investing his fortune in the wine business. Ended-up (sadly) fighting well into late middle-age.

              Foreman is the best example.

he used his boxing career to create a brand which is recognised all over the world.

                Bump,,,

Boxingscene as an article up about holmes saying floyd will lose his money, and that larry did the same thing and wasted his money,,

Yet in this thread everyone is acting like he was smart with his money,,,,,

Maybe we arent as smart as we think we are in history section

You guys are being a bit unfair....Welterschmuck really wants to french kiss Vitali's ass...Its tough for him. When he writes one of his lovely posts his lips get right into the correct pucker and he can almost taste and feel the sensation of his tongue on around Vitali's nether region.

Can you imagine Leon Spinks' dental bills!? Now wonder he fought so hard against Ali.
