Yet in this thread everyone is acting like he was smart with his money,,,,,

The really smart ones make mistakes a plenty. We all have. It is amazing the amount of ignorance that it actually takes to sink a fortune...yet it happens everyday. I mean we hear it all the time right? Tyson had millions upon and managed to blow it, etc etc.

If Holmes made mistakes and still managed to be a success he is even better than I give him credit for. I also have some understanding of restaurants and you have to be very smart to make it. Ditto for what I do with Real Estate. To be succesful you have to make mistakes. The difference is: While some guys make mistakes some guys are just foolish.


If you ever want a nice example of this look up Donald Trump's track record...I dont have much respect for the guy but many do and he has truly done some ****** things. But he has avoided the IRS and does not gamble!

I handle investments and real estate, and i move at a snails pace especially when things are going good, because you never know when it will turn on you,,
Like right now the stock market has been on a terror over the last few years, but right now all the casual investors want to pile their money in it, but they dont realize they have missed the great part of the run-up and now are paying huge premiums on little earnings, its not going to go up forever

Yeah, true....People running to get in without knowing the party is over. I don't know what has sustained the market as of late frankly. I don't know what has sustained the dollar! I have a feeling the treasury might actually get a chance to print currency in my lifetime....Or at least before we hear about the first expedition to Mars.

you obviously do understand then. There is so much ignorance about financial matters, you see it on the forum when people assume a person with a lot of cash cannot go broke.
