Look at Charlies Angels, the old series and the 2000 movies were aimed at both men and women. (women wanted to be like them, men wanted them), this new one, the director herself said this movie wasn't for men, so they nor women showed up. And she of course blamed men for not showing up and the movie bombing.

Terminators are built to blend in the human crowd.

It makes perfect sense to built both male and female Terminators.

More importantly, Terminators are friggin computers, they do not REALLY have a gender.

There is no improving on T2. The movie was a tour de force. Terminator was a product of its age, the concept just isn't as compelling in the 21st century.

It won't work without Arnold (see: Predators), but bringing Arnold and Cameron back wouldn't bring it anywhere near the first two. Look at Star Wars; the prequals with new characters sucks, and the new ones with old characters suck.

These new ones are just a product with a familiar name made for a quick buck.

Some of these franchise movies jump the shark.

They have a following so they will put up a movie just to cash in. If it is successful even if it is mediocre they will produce another one.

The Lethal Weapon series and Wolverine one did better because the stories were simply better.

I loved Dark Fate. It's the first film that felt like a worthy sequel to T1 and T2.

The storyline and universe has been handled so poorly that no one cares anymore, unfortunately. Which is why the movie flopped.

This is the biggest reason right here. Too much SJW nonsense being injected into every movie now. A franchise that began in the 80's is going to have a difficult time transitioning into the 21st century climate of militant feminism, LGBT, and other radical causes. Hiring a team of millennial writers probably doesn't help.

***y is going a little far.

She was well put together but not ***y or attractive(in the movie) to me and the movie didnt try to put that on screen.

They literally had one scene, which was comedy, about her looks.
