Now, give us the context of why, in your case, and what these situations that allow the eternal code to be broken are.

If someone is a *********, ****s someone, runs up in a bank and shoots innocent people, then all of them deserve to be snitched on. That's not even snitching. That's making your community safer. Unless you're willing to eliminate these people yourself, calling the police is the only option.

Snitching is about breaking a code within criminals. If we're both slanging and you get popped, and sing about me, that's snitching.

I grew up this way. In my old hood, the cops were not called for any circumstance. Ambulance yes, cops no.

It's an "honor amongst thieves" argument. Trying to play that out in today's society is extremely ignorant. Sooner or later, someone is getting snitched on and someone is going to prison. The no snitching rule comes from people not wanting to pay the piper themselves.

The poll question is a little loaded, with its "absolutely", but you know what made me come back to this thread? I just "snitched".

I was prowling over YouTube putting in my usual search terms.... "girls fight naked"... "girl fight, boobs come out", etc.

Some goddamn asshole - two of them, in fact - had the stones to advertise a video with false thumbnails/titles.

I don't give a **** who you are. If you're on YouTube, promising "hot girl breaks up hood fight", that's what I expect to see. Not paid actresses pretending you've pranked them.

And if I click on "mud wrestling with boobs", THAT'S what I expect to see, too. Not clickbait so you can make cash and my stiff taddywhacker has to wait to cry a white tear.

Those guys can lose their videos (one's already been wiped), they can lose their channels, I don't give a ****. **** them.

I snitched on myself last year. My girl caught me trying to hook up with an ugly stumpy j girl. She asked me why?? She indicated that she would or could understand if the girl was pretty. I told her "the shame factor is always an erection starter for an ex alter boy like me!"
