The Islamist brotherhood rebels assasinated a large number of goverment officials and they fled mostly into the town of Hama, where Assad's army went Assad on them. The Islamist hid around the civilians much like ***** does to make sure Israel's drones hit innocent people, hence the massacres.
What type of propaganda is Russia using? His refusal to bend over backwards for the militant gay "rights" groups is that what upsets you most about them? Knowing you.

I posted a link to factual events and you dismiss my knowledge on politics as if I posted a conspiracy video of 9/11.

So for you to start a thread which misleads the public by referring to Russia "Destroying Isis in Syria" as if its Russia's sole and honorable purpose to set out an eliminate these *********s is asinine. Russia's purpose in Syria is to consolidate power, it just so happens that destroying elements of ISIS is part of that purpose.
Also you never answered me, what Western country do you reside in you hypocrite?
Is that not extremely important to Assad's power you goofball? You keep trying to make it sounds like the rebels are the only ones they need to take care of when Isis is a FAR bigger threat to Syia. The FSA aka the poor man's Isis is small fish in comparison, pal.
If Russia is actually there to help Assad's goverment their very main objective is to target Isis, the plague.
And I'm from Holland. They've sent quite a few of their military to Iraq to train Kurdish men to become soldiers, I appriciate what they've done. What does my country have to do with this?

The rightwing wanted ***** to bomb Assad.
The US official policy is still to overthrow Assad.
They tried to take war to Assad, and were defeated, including by Russia.
In Syria, Russia has been a major stabilizing influence.
A sh i t load of people have died. Including due to US and West European bungling of the situation. Also due to local conditions.
It is all very unfortunate.
The US has been literally arming both sides of the war; the Iraqi government on the one hand, those supposedly 'opposing' the Syrian government on the other hand.
Russia has been a positive influence, and the US needs to back the f u ck off on this regime change bullsh i t.
Assad is not a saint, but ISIS is an absolute travesty.
Overthrowing governments is not healthy politics, especially mid-civil war.

Your title of the thread seemed to indicate as though Russia set out with the sole purpose to eliminate ISIS, which would be misleading.

Or as an Assyrian with affection to the Middle East, you could care less about that?
