i can assure you that it does more than that, young burner.

the primary function of punishment in the sociological perspective is to control the remainder of the population.

why do we punish a murderer?
keeping everybody else from murdering is the primary function, and the function of greatest value to society.

the death penalty would discourage anything.

Some ****cides are justifiable, no child ******ing ever is.
Nobody in this thread is talking about justifiable homicides or crimes of passion. The killer in question is a ruthless murderer who kills adults indiscriminately to satiate his blood lust.

most murders are committed by people who know their victims, doe. random killings are rare relative to those with a motive outside of simply feeling gratified. i didn't read the TS post, to tell the truth, so i can't say if he made this stipulation about the population of murderers we're comparing to child ******ers.

what if young malik's turf is getting run up on by rivals, and he's got to use the steel?

          to address the thread title:
both are disgusting acts that should mandate at least several decades behind bars. a child's life is obviously compromised when he / she is ****d, but the victim lives. it's obviously a more serious offense to kill somebody.

I am not sure about it. PB32 was ******ed by three black guys when he was 10-years old. You think he's recovered?

You may have a point there. Just the other day I was sparring with him and, when I hit him with a body shot, 3 quarts of ***** fell out of his ass.

Well, the murderers were likely ******ed at a young age, so the child ******er caused it. Therefore the ******er is worse.

Child ******ers do not belong anywhere in society.
