From a legal point of view, taking a life is the worst crime. But take a look at the poll, why do you think people vote like they do? I don't think it has anything to do with 'child worship' (not sure what you meant by that, sounds absurd anyway).

I think it has to do with the fact that children are innocent and vulnerable, and that it is against any moral code to hurt a child.

I'd also like to know how you were appointed to the sacred position of judge regarding all aspects of human innocence and what guidelines you're adhering to in order to condemn all murdered adults as being "guilty" (the implication of course being that they deserve death more than children) of these illusory crimes that you've yet to expound upon.

Anything can be justified in a deterministic sense. I think it's very important that more people come round to that method of thinking.

Randomly came across this thread, but I can't understand anyone who would see anything as worse than hurting a child. Children are innocent. It's the lowest, most putrid thing anyone can do. There's a reason they are seen as outcasts in prison. Not even men convicted of other horrible crimes want anything to do with the bastards
