I'm surprised so many people are picking the child ******er. I don't know if I'd even want to answer such a f'd up question, but what makes the child ******er so much worse?
The ******ed child has a chance to grow up and live a normal life. It's not like in ALL cases they are instantly crippled or so emotionally scarred that they can't function in society when they grow up.
The adult, well, is dead and is robbed of a life period. In many countries you're considered an adult at age 18. I would probably consider a murdered 18 year old more tragic than a 8 year old getting ******ed.
A decent comparison would be like asking, "who do you think is worse, Jerry Sandusky or the Son of Sam?"Comment

I'm not trying to minimize the serious damage that child ******ation does to children (and adults, later in life), I just think it's pretty ****ty how people underrate the value of adults in society. ******ed kids can get over being ******ed, I've known a few. Sure, it takes years of therapy and possibly medication, but they have the chance to go on and lead productive lives while living, loving, and generally enjoying life.
People who are brutally murdered for no reason at all have no such opportunity. They're just compost.Comment
