Do we need milk to survive? No we dont, but studies also show that we dont need meat either and the human body is best without meat and with only grain. Does this mean we shouldnt eat meat? Its ll bull**** IMO
It's far from pseudoscience man, sorry but you couldn't be more wrong. Meat is a terrible comparison as we NEEDED meat in our evolution as a species. If it wasn't for meat, our brains wouldn't have developed into what they are today.

As far as milk, it was humans who injected the consumption of milk into our diets unnaturally. Think about it, we are born, our mothers produce milk and then we drink until a certain age in our lives then that's it.

Just like every other species on the planet. Yet we are the only one's that continue to drink milk into our adulthood and from another species.

Is there any published research to support this stuff? I drink half a gallon of milk a day and I don't have any of the symptoms that supposedly suggest the milk is poisoning me.

I followed the links and that Dr Huber guy is talking about milk causing cancer, but to be honest there's a boy crying wolf tone to that argument. 'X' causes cancer is as attention grabbing a headline as you can put out there, and everything gets linked to cancer at some point. Normally the 'link' turns out to be spurious, sensationalist, and 'based on' studies that make claims that are nowhere near as dramatic as the headline suggests.

If there's strong evidence, I'm on board. If it's some guy making a blog post, I'm out.

You are normally a very good and intelligent poster and I'm surprised by this response from you.

First off, they don't say that "milk causes cancer", they said the consumption of milk is linked with higher risks of cancer which are two different things.

Second, (and for the 12th time in this thread) just because you drink milk and are can digest it, doesn't mean it's good for you. If you read the link, you would understand that adults who drink milk and digest it well, have a genetic mutation that has been passed on mostly from northern Europeans which introduced milk drinking many thousands of years ago. That's why it's broken down into regions.

I'm sure I can find some published work, since I have been reading about it off and on for over a year now.

Lots of things have been injected 'unnaturally' into our lives over the course of human history, like pillows, laptops, contact lenses, and jelly beans. We're the only species on the planet that tolerates rollerblading but it's a leap to suggest that it's carcinogenic.

The evolutionary argument is always a compelling one but it's not really enough on its own.

no, muscles alone don't a great fighter make, but if you're big and fast and you can take a good punch it's a hell of a lot easier

I don't drink milk, mainly because my body can't digest it anymore. I thought it was just me getting older but I started researching why so many people around the world are lactose intolerant. Here's a summary of what I found by Dr. Kristen Harding.

It also explains how evolution is involved in it. Humans stop producing that enzyme that allows us to digest milk and it's for a good reason. (for those of you that still don't believe in evolution, here's yet another of the millions of scientific proofs)

Milk is bad for you, it's full of fat, all kinds of hormones, it hurts the cows severely and it's hard to digest unless you are a freak.

So stop drinking milk, you can get calcium from many other sources, like almond milk which I drink which has more calcium and is much better for you.

I have been saying this for years after I read some study on how Asian males and Black males (haha blackmale) can`t digest dairy after a certain age. Basically once they reach manhood. I started to ask around and myself and many of my friends went through the same thing. Drinking milk started to make us all sick.

                      2. If you have a basic understanding of statistics, if an organization claims to have surveyed the entire world and claimed 80 % prevalence of lactose intolerance in an entire population,

It stands to reason, if you met over 100 Filipinos, like I have, then at least a few of them should have it.

I've met thousands of Filipinos and have hundreds of Family members and not one of them are lactose intolerant.
                      Ouch! ^^^

What does that word have to do with milk?
