I was trying to figure out how the hell Nnamdi got on the list myself. Not saying he isn't an awesome player to have in your secondary, but on the same list with Prime time and Charles Woodson???? GTFO

Yeah Nmandi is a good player but hes nowhere as good as Revis IMO, Nmandi cant catch too well and can only cover the QBs left reciever.

Really interceptions are hardly the sole determining factor of a great shutdown corner. The true mark of a shutdown corner is when the QB doesn't even bother to throw to your side of the field, effectively shutting it down. Hence the term "shutdown corner".

I doubt that on average a QB completes more than 5 passes a game to Revis' side of the field. Kinda hard to come up with picks and make big plays when the ball isn't even being throw in your vicinity.

A good player he is, bud damn! Putting him on a list with hall of famers??? lmfao.
Revis needs to step his game up and keep it up for a while. It's hard to be great, cause once you are "good" everybody knows you are on the field and you don't make such a difference. The great ones won't be denied.

You think Nmandi is better than Revis?

That the thing though, Revis is still keeping it up. Just because he's not getting picks all throughout the game doesn't matter. Nobody is even bothering to throw the ball to his side of the field. That's what a shutdown corner does and Revis does it very well.

The difference between Revis and Sanders is, You CAN throw to Revis' side of the field, just not in "vicinity". Sanders would get you if threw anywhere with in 20 yards sometimes.
Revis may tackle better than Sanders did though.

                  Did you watch Sanders play?
He was avoided more by QB's than Hester is by kickers. Deep routes were especially a no no cause he would come across field for the interception. Like I said, the "great" ones won't be denied.

I'm not denying Sanders was a great. He's going to Canton for a reason. But Revis hasn't lost a step as you seemed to be insinuating. I mean the guy held Owens who is still a great receiver to I think 15 yards the entire game. It seems as if Revis is not doing well if you look at the number but like I said nobody even bothers to throw in his direction.

But like I said Deion is the better overall football player. He was a solid wideout, an incredible corner and a probably one of the best returners next to Hester and maybe Sayers
