Why don't they ban guns in the usa?

Even if they did ban them TS, ppl seemed to kill each other just fine before they were invented.

Even if you were able to ban all guns even from criminals and everyone who wasn't military or law enforcement now everyone will just uses knives and other types of blades as the primary weapon to defend their families, the those would get banned and we would finally just get to a point where the country was debating whether sporks were too dangerous.

Besides if I couldn't have a gun then the king of England could just walk right in my house and start pushing me around, its the reason we have the right to bear arms in the 1st place.

I want a gun to protect my family too, but a sword is the best I can do. Hand guns are banned here now since a man killed lots of kids in a school with a legal, registered gun.

To get a ******* I need to provide why (Good reason) and have it locked in a cabinet. Not even sure how hard a rifle is to get.

i can only talk about certain states i've lived in, but like i said, i just bought a gun, and here in MD you have a wait... 7-10 days usually... and the paperwork is tedious and the first time you buy one you have to complete a ****** online thing (anyone can complete) but the point is, its not like going to pick up a gallon of milk...
