Wow I'm just catching up to this.

    RIP Z

Between all his posts being some bizarro haiku poem, to his fake hood/cholo speak he was a true character, and pillar of this community. He will be sorely missed.

It's kind of like having two personalities... Two ways of relating to the world. You choose one. Z liked that hood voice .
Bro, I always thought y'all were the same person. I guess time says different.

You guys were def in lock step with each other. Y'all ever meet up?

We did. We shared a meal in fairfax near Novato. Z was in the area and heading to San Jose and I was living in San Francisco. If we were the same then I am speaking to you from beyond the grave! True Fan started that rumor. He was supposed to meet up with us! It was kind sad because he not only would not show, but was kind of rude... I mean I tease people here, but you come to my neck of the woods? Your my guest.

Funny thing is, Z and I have/had similarities. He was, like myself, not only well educated, but came up off the streets. He was actually a very intelligent guy. We used to occasionally correspond on Israel and such. Yeah definitely some similarities.

The young Zaroku in his San Jose days...circa early 80's...

One of the more endearing part of Z (not including his willingness to share J wimmin with us) was his arguing with, then, making up with, only to argue again with the same posters

Was his funeral in a church or synagogue?
