Stop it everyone was selling the vaccine as the end of covid and you know it, nobody ever once said "oh this vaccine may make your symptoms better but won't stop you from getting covid." People would have just taken zinc instead, that does the same thing, maybe better.

Naw they want to take vaccines and boosters that *** up their own immune systems. There's not even a debate about this as studies show this now.

This has zero to do about what I want. I took my emotions out of it even with health issues and made a common sense decision. To take some unknown very little trials jabs made no sense to me from the start. Then to watch it all fall apart and people like you keep telling people to get these jabs. All while ignoring VAERS, FDA heads quiting, Pfizer whistle blowers, "we have to pass this to see the side effects in children" where 0 to 18 kids were at 700 deaths in two full years with 68% of them having pre existing conditions. and calling all the side effects and deaths bunk was eye opening. YOU have blood on your hands. You pushed this BS and still are with facts right in your face so take a look in the mirror before you try and put it on someone that warned everyone.

In the other thread you're saying things like "I can't wait for the side effects" etc. You're cheering like it's a game and you want your team to win.

No it doesn't. Firstly the fact that existing vaccines designed to combat earlier versions of the virus are only slightly useful at preventing the spread of Omicron in no way negates the effectiveness they've already shown against both spreading and preventing seripous illness against earlier variants nor does it negate the millions of lives that have already been saved globally.

Besides, when the COVID response strategy was being devised and the original vaccines developed no one had a crystal ball. Nations around the globe were operating on the basis of the information available to them at the time and attempting to resolve the immediate situation not trying to guess what would happen a year or 18 months down the line. Ask any military or crisis planner about prioritsation of needs man.

Secondly whilst they do indeed seem to offer little reduction in transmission rates they do continue to very significantly reduce the already low likelihood of getting seriously ill or dying of Omicron in the the immune naive (those who are both never infected and never vaccinated).

That said if you ain't already vaccinated there's probably less reason to do so now than there has ever been in the past 13 months so if you held out this long it's hard to see why you'd change your mind now. It's still not guaranteed but it's looking increasingly likely that we're going be arriving at endemicity for COVID - or approaching it - over the course of this year.

And as for 'vicious haters' whilst you yourself have generally been pretty civil and I do my level best to maintain a courteous relationship with everyone, the same can't be said for many who share your beliefs... number of times I've been called a brainwashed moron or a cultist or even been accused of supporting infanticide or promoting genocide.... ain't like the absue is a one way strret man.

I never called anyone names but if you look at the other side in general, they seem to believe that we deserve to be put in prison, fined, or killed for our beliefs. The is viciously wrong. We just want everyone to be free but don't want anyone to suffer because they disagree w us. You can correct me if I'm wrong but I see a frighteningly large number of pro vaccine lunatics out there who celebrate the deaths of people like me and my son. In my own country. In 2022. Every day its on twitter, the news, and even a poll showed 40% of ********s want to make it a crime to disagree about the vaccine.
